Based on previous reviews I contacted Dave and we discussed softener options.  There was no need for him to come out for an initial review before he quoted a price.  This saved a great deal of time.  We set up a date for installation over the phone and he showed up ON TIME as scheduled.

He was very mindful of our home environment by wearing booties and seeking a path to minimize traffic through the house.

He briefly explained how to adjust the softener if needed, left the manual attached that he marked with the date of installation (really helpful!).

To our surprise and delight, he not only filled the softener with salt, but he left a few extra bags for us!  

Lastly, his invoice was less than his estimate!  When does that ever happen?!!!

Dave was great. He installed an iron filter, a UV filter and a RO system. He also did some very needed plumbing work and replaced the pressure gauge for us, even though it was not part of the original plan. Very professional and always on time. I really appreciate him accommodating our very busy schedules. He even came out on a Sunday.

Dave is very professional and polite. Came on time for the estimates and performed no obligation water hardness testing. He suggested the water softener that would suite for our usage and needs. Came for installation right on time did nice work on laying extra pipes, installing the softener and RO. Initially installed a chrome faucet as he did not have the bronze faucet in inventory that matched the other faucets in kitchen. Few weeks later came back with bronze colored faucet that was close enough and installed it.
Very pleased with his services and would highly recommend him.

Dave called when he was 20 min. away. He showed up on time, installed the water softener, filled it with salt we had ready for him, programmed it, and made sure it was working. We have been enjoying the benefits of soft water ever since.

Dave came to the house, I showed him where thew water was leaking and it took him about twenty minutes and he had it fixed. He did an excellent job and was very professional and the cost was very reasonable. I would highly recommend.

We thought our water softner was not working properly. He came out and after about 15minutes he determined that it was running good. He only charged me $35.00 to come out. The regular fee is $75.00 for a service call.

Dave originally tried to fix my old softener which wasn't very old, but the cost for a replacement resin tank which was cracked exceeded the cost of a new softener. I had someone else out before which just glanced at the old softener, said it couldn't be fixed, and gave me a high estimate and an hour plus sales pitch for a new one. Needless to say, I'm so glad I called Emir-Kim! Dave put over an hour in trying to fix my old softener and gave me a very reasonable price for replacing it after repairing the old one seemed unreasonable. Dave replaced the tank, made it so one of our outside lines wasn't hooked up to it, and explained the unit to me. He was prompt and professional at all times.

It's no wonder many of my neighbors call Dave for all their water treatment needs. He is fair, efficient and positive. From the moment I phoned to arrange for an estimate to the installation of the new equipment, the entire experience went very smoothly. As an aside, Dave noticed that the water pressure value on my water tank was not working. He had an extra value in his truck and replaced the defective value at no extra charge. This speaks to the quality of this man and his work. He is committed to doing the job done right. He arrived early and worked non-stop until the work was completed.

I had called Dave a number of times because the softener was failing. He tried many things but knew that the tank would have to be replaced or refilled. He replaced the material and got the system to work. He even followed up with a call and visit to make sure it was working.

A point of Information - I moved into this house and the water system that was here was a Culligan and had seen its best days. When I called Culligan they were polite and bussiness like, but I felt as though my call was just one of many. After checking Angie's list and a few phone calls later, I decided on Ameri-kim. They installed a GREAT NEW water softener and drinking water osmosis system. The professionalism towards the entire job was exceptional. From the time the office set up appointment to confirm all the detalis thru the end of the installation all encounters were positive and professional. The work was done on time and finished as promised. The suggestion to relocate the water softener added to open the space in the basement and resulted in less area devoted to the softener.
AMERI-KIIM also will keep track of my filter replacement needs and call me so I can purchase or have them install it. For a very reasonable fee they will also deliver my water softener salt for regeneration.
All the work preformed was done with skill and workmanship along with the understanding my needs made this purchase and installation a very good experience. I woud strongly recommend AMERI-KIM for water softener and/ or osmosis systems.
