When the delivery man came he went into our kitchen to disconnect our range and remove it. To our amazement, when he pulled it out from the counter he swung it around 180 degrees with one hand into the middle of the kitchen. My wife noticed he was scratching the floor and I told him to be more careful that the floor is getting scratched. He said oh, we don't want to do that.

 We just had a new laminated wooden floor installed 2 years ago that was in perfect shape!

He then went out to get the new range and brought it in with a 2 wheeler and was very rough bringing it in the kitchen as though he was working in a warehouse! As he was installing the gas line on the new range he had it tipped some and it slid and dropped down. He then finished and pushed it into place. He strapped the old range up to the oversized 2 wheeler and literally bounced it carelessly down our foyer steps. My wife came running thinking he dropped it!

After he left we realized how bad he damaged the floor. I called the company (Valley Forge Services in Lake Villa ) and spoke to the man in charge named Ron and told him what happened and he told me he would talk to the service guy and call me back. He did not call for 2 days so I called him back and this is what Ron told me.

He claimed the service man said I told him that other service men were here and they scratched the floor all up and to be careful, which was a big lie! So there was nothing he could do. I told him if I said that to his service man, why would I be calling him and telling him that his service man did it.

I called Whirlpool and they told me that there was nothing they could do and that I would have to deal with Valley Forge Services as they should be insured.

I now have to deal with my floor and am very upset to say the least. Be warned, in my opinion, do not utilize Valley Forge Services!!!
