Description of Work: My car failed emissions due to a failure for their instrument to communicate with my vehicle. I took it into Meineke's and talked to Scott. He stated they get that all the time and since they are licensed to di Emissions Testing they would get it to pass once it was fixed. He called an hour later stating that my vehicles OBD had to be reset and that no further cost was involved. I was shocked. Alot of shops would have used my situation as a way to tack on unneeded work on a catalytic converter or oxygen sensor without me being the wiser for hundreds of dollars. THeir honesty floored me. On top of that, a diagnostics on the vehicle was 98.00, but since ti just needed to be reset, I was charged half of that! |This has NEVER happened to me before. It restored my faith in honest mechanics. I mentioned Angies List and he smiled , telling me he is also a member, using them for a special deal recently, in which he was happy with the services purchased. Thanks Angie and Scott at Meinecke!!

 + -1 moreThis place is the best! I have gone here for a number of years. This time the Ford dealer told me that my entire exhaust system needed to be replaced as well as the valve cover. Khalid Mahmood and his mechanics looked it over and found only a small part of the exhaust system was starting to fail and that the valve cover replacement was not as serious an issue as the Ford dealer indicated. I saved over $900 on this work. It was done right and done in about an hour. In the past Khalid and Mike even took time to talk to my daughter about the stupidity of drinking and driving when her actions required repairs on the car. Just to have mechanics that I know are not trying to ring up as much work as they can, makes me go to them whenever I can. They will even give you referrals for work they are unable to do.
