Lou was fantastic. Let's first start off by saying that it was during the "polar vortex" and the house had been winterized. That being said, it was a whole 20 degrees in the house! I thougth Lou's fingers were going to fall off, but he maintained his professionalism and performed a thorough house inspection.
This was our 3rd time using Lou due to issues with previous homes and ultimately deciding not to go through with them. As you can see, we kept coming back to Lou. He was very professional. Got there early and was very meticulous as he walked around the property and checked things out. Not only did he report issues and problems, but he kindly offered a lot of advice to us first-time owners. Told us how to keep our house maintained, do's and don'ts, and a variety of other helpful tips. I pegged him with a lot of questions and he was very open and honest. By the third home inspection with him, I felt like I knew more about houses than a typical homeowner because of his wealth of information. The reports were fabulous as well. Had pictures, posted the problems, and listed which expert to use in order to repair or maintain a certain area. He was fantastic! No complaints here. I will most definitely be letting my friends and family know of his services.
My favorite part about Lou was that he was not only an expert at what he does, but he is genuine. The second and third times that we asked for him to do our home inspection, he gave us a discounted price because he honestly felt bad for our unfortunate housing situations. At the end of the 3rd inspection he said, and I quote, "If this one does not work, the next one is on me". That speaks a thousand words right there.

Inspector was on time and professional. What was described as a minor roof defect at a dormer was actually a $2500 repair.

Lou was very responsive and quick to give a quote. Pricing was very reasonable.
On the day of the inspection Lou arrived early and was proactive in helping me deal with my builder. Lou was very easy to work with and provided a lot of good insight along the way. Lou took the time to investigate a concern I had based on other homes having issues in the neighborhood and got more info than I could have out of the builder.
I was very happy with how the inspection proceeded and would not think twice about using Lou again in the future or referring a friend to him.

Lou did a very thorough inspection. He was patient and answered every question and took extra time to point out and explain all the components and functions of the home over and above expectations. This was an older home with a great deal of "odd features." He has lived and worked in the area a number of years and knew older homes. The inspection report was very detailed including pictures for every item discussed. I wish we had known of Falcon when we had our home inspection a year earlier. I would not hesitate to recommend the services of Falcon Home Inspection and Radon Detection.

During the inspection Lou arrived on time and was very professional. His walk through was thorough and informative. The report highlighted a few areas I needed to ask the seller about, but nothing major. Overall the report was very easy to read and understand, even for someone who doesn't know a thing about this stuff! Both the seller and I were very happy.
The radon test was performed by Anthony and again he was extremely professional and accurate. The radon test was performed in a timely manner and the results were prompt.
I agree, wouldn't purchase a home without consulting them!

This inspector inspected the house and found a lot of issues, for the inspection part I gave him a fair rating. his house inspection report is so poorly written, seems to me that he don't understand why we paid him for home inspection and cannot distinguish the difference of "problem" with "solution", so his report is full of solution--not problem. it's definitely not a report you want in your hand to present it to seller to fix the issue in house or negotiate the price. This is the home inspector you want to stay away and wished you would never had to deal with.

Lou and Anthony make a great father/son team! Both men were courteous, punctual, knowlegeable, and respectful to the home. They wore shoe covers the entire time they were inside the home performing the inspection and really knew what to look for. They explained why they were looking at each area and if they found anything of concern, they described how it could be remedied. The report was sent via email (within the same day the inspection was performed) with lots of explanations and photos and we were 100% satisfied. They were competitively priced and I would recommend this company to anyone!

Lou always arrives on time and is prepared for the inspection. He is highly skilled and knowledgeable and gladly takes the time to explain each step in the inspection. Lou takes many photos during the inspection to include in his highly detailed inspection report. The inspection report easily serves as a road map when making repairs to your property. The great service does not stop with the inspection report as Lou makes himself readily available for follow-up questions. Bottom Line: I will never purchase a home without consulting with Lou.
