A TO Z PLUMBING & SEWER

We were sent to AtoZ through Four Seasons because we called at 11pm one night when my basement began to flood.  I am not going to bore you with the details of our plumbing issues, but I will outline how bad this service was:
1. The guy showed up drunk.  Seriously, drunk.  He stumbled around and then got himself stuck in my catch basin and had to scream for help, which I then had to pull him out by his legs.  I can confirm he was drunk because he had to come back the next day and his demeanor and aroma was not the same.
2. He tried to gouge me.  I thought he was asking too much, so I had a second firm come come up the next morning and found out he was asking for 3X the market rate.  He tried to negotiate...he failed.
3. He broke his equipment at my house.  I had to let this guy come back the next morning after he didn't fix the problem because he broke his drain snake cable in my sewer lines.
4. I paid him for the visit, but then had to pay another firm to come help me.

He did a fine job. I felt that it did not need replacing but we decided to replace it anyway. He even suggested not replacing it.

I had to sign a contract to get things fixed. I felt like I was pressured into doing something quickly. I am an elderly person. He refused to give an itemized statement of expenses. I would not recommend. The gentleman that came out and did the work requested 2 checks. The first one I wrote was written to the company in the company's name. The second check I wrote was requested to be written in the individual's name. To me, this was extremely fishy. I feel I was scammed in the long run by this man. The total was 1650.00. When the company responded, they advised me that they have no record of doing any work for me.
