They did a fantastic job, and such a reasonable price. They were prompt. They cleaned up well when done. They did a great job answering my questions about the service, and I'm very pleased with the service. I even offered to pay them more, and they wouldn't accept it. Great guys.

Owner John Burke stopped by my house within two hours of my call. John eyeballed the tree (killed off by the Emerald Ash Borer Beatle), and gave me a quote of $1,000. At the time I thought it was a little high, but after the fact (actually watching the amount
of work required to remove a large 40 ft tall Ash (4 man crew working about 4 hours, cutting it into many chunks, removed from my back yard to a truck to be hauled away/ground into mulch) I knew I got a good deal. Tree was very close to a neighbors fence, and close to power lines, and my house utility hook-up. Workers were no-nonsense, and neat in appearance. Did a good job of clean up. Equipment used was in good condition.

He did not save the big branch that the cabinet maker told him would be for the mantel--he cut it into pieces! I could not have a live edge mantel made. He did leave a crooked branch that a square mantel could be cut out of. When I checked the job, I couldn't believe it- he was having his guys cut up a lot of beautiful cherry so it could only be used for firewood. Apparently the trunk of the tree was too heavy for him to cut and maneuver, so he cut much of that too small to be milled too. I tried to be polite and had told him to quit while I contacted my husband because he has access to a bobcat and such that may have helped. Mr Burke would not wait and proceeded to cut up the majority of the cherry, which was very healthy without a bug in sight. I wish he would have just told me the job was bigger than he thought and stopped working or I should have just kicked him off my property. I could have found a qualified company to finish. At the very least, I should have deducted 500 dollars from his payment.
