I have used their snow plow service for 3 years, however this was the first year they have disappointed me.
With the light snow fall, I felt they plowed unnecessarily, often charging me to plow twice for minimal 3-4 inch snows. They often plowed later in the morning long after I left for work (I leave at 9am).
Also, my mail box was knocked over and I have placed 6 calls to David Jackson with minimal response. He said he had photographs for me then never followed up. My village's public works attempted to call him as well to discuss responsibility. They assured me due to placement of my mailbox they could not have been responsible, but David Jackson has not called them back either.2 of 6 calls were returned- the first one saying he has photos of the mailbox damage, and his plower insisted my mailbox was damaged when he arrived. The second one he promised to meet me one morning and never showed up. By late morning I had to leave for work and left a message without hearing back.
The last voice mail I left 2 weeks ago- saying I was unhappy with him not returning my calls, that I'd like to see his photographs of my damaged mailbox that proved his company did not do it. I suggested emailing them to me and left my email. No response. I also asked for his email so I could send pictures that I took of the grass turf damaged leading to my mailbox. They were supposed to put driveway markers and never did. No response. Just a bill for services, which I paid.
Maybe this complaint will earn me a response?
To summarize, my biggest complaint by far has always been their responsiveness. It is so poor, but I was able to overlook it until this year. I feel it negates the company's other positive attributes. As a result, I wouldn't refer them to anyone else and won't use them again in the future.

This company did everything needed to complete our recent home construction job beautifully. Scott Freres, the landscape architect, drew up plans, working in interest for all seasons, and concentrating on a more natural look. He answered every question and concern that we had regarding price of something verses another option. We intially were surprised at how much the extensive landscaping plan, labor, materials (including a bluestone walkway, shrubbery and trees, grading the land to our village specifications, sod, gateway and fencing) would cost, but after talking with several people, we realized how well they were priced. Dave Jackson, the owner, oversaw all of the work being done, and together, he and Scott figured out how to incorporate several plants we had on site already, and how to utilize some pavers we had for a lovely extra side patio, saving us money. We initially thought that we'd just sort of do it ourselves (besides the grading and fencing), but I can't believe how this has positively transformed the look and value of the house. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.
