HALLORAN & YAUCH INC

Halloran designed and installed the sprinkler system in our yard in 2006. The system has had numerous issues and they have been out over the years to make repairs. This year we have a major leak and we called to schedule service. We had to wait weeks for the initial appointment. The serviceman (Doug) was unable to find the problem and ended his visit saying "I don't know what else to do." I called and asked them to send someone more experienced, maybe the person who designed the system. I waited 10 days for the appointment. During this time, the sprinklers were shut off and so was the fountain in my yard that relies on the sprinkler system to run. They sent Rich, who was great, but he arrived at 1:00. He found part of the problem and fixed it. At 3:30 he announced that he wasn't done, but he had to leave because the boss won't pay him for one minute past 3;30. He said he would come back two days later at 8:00. He never arrived. When I called the office, they said he would come the next day. After waiting for 2 days, I finally got Halloran on the phone. Hes not easy to reach. The girls in the office made it clear that he doesn't like to be bothered by customers. He is hysterical. He's a grumpy old man. He said he doesn't want to work on our problem any more because it's too hard to solve. I reminded him that he designed this system, but clearly he does not stand behind his own work. When I spoke to my landscaper, a big well known north shore firm, they said they used to use Halloran and Yauch, but they never do anymore because of this type of thing. Go elsewhere
