The person who showed up said he is not a roofing specialist but a carpenter!!! He was honest and nice and did some inspection etc. but not sure of the quality. And there was certainly no "maintenance" involved - it was mere inspection.

John Panko came out to give us a quote. He was very personable, and answered all our questions honestly. We had to change our install date, since we preferred to be home when they came. Custom Installations gladly rescheduled our job. It took two men a day and a half to do the job, which they did beautifully. After they left I noticed one downspout was not facing in the direction I wanted. I gave them a call, and one guy came back about two hours later to adjust it. I would not hesitate to recommend Custom Installations.

Customs installations sent me an email right away with information on dates available for the work to be done. they were very punctual, respectful and completed the work as agreed. all of my concerns with fascia coming loose and roofing flashing being loose were taken care of. thank you customs installations.

I paid for the $99 deal ( 2 hours, roof, siding and gutter maintenance) on September 7th..... they came until October 5th to make the inspection ( a month later ....! )The man spent 20 min looking outside my house, and he told me that I need it a completely new roof ( my house was built in 2000 and it has cedar shingles), he didn't do or repair anything.... then I received a call from the company to make an appointment for a project manager to come and make a new evaluation and then make an estimate. The appointment was for Friday October 14th... but they FORGOT!!! So I had to call and rescheduled for next day. The project manager came and told us that we doesn't need to change all our roof, that we have some other options, like different roof treatments and just change some roof areas. He told us that he will send the estimate, but guess what? Today is November 17th and we haven't received ANYTHING!!! I called the project manager two weeks ago and he just told me that he was working on it. We feel so disappointed, they looked like a professional company...

There were some issues with the installation due to some miscommunication between the person who assessed the job and drew up the specs, and the installers, but the company was very responsive when I called about the problems and they took care of it in a timely manner. It hasn't rained yet, but hopefully they will work as intended. The installers were very courteous and efficient.

The man who came out (Evan) was great. However, they cancelled twice with no notice and I had to reach out to them both times. And when they finally did perform the work on the third scheduled attempt, they missed the two hour arrival window w no phone call/email to notify. I can only assume the reduced rate I paid for an AL deal contributed to poor communication/service.

I will have these folks back when it is time to get a new roof. They have earned my business!

They did what they were supposed to. The only thing is I was supposed to get a follow-up call with some pricing on addt'l services, but never got it.

I chose "Custom Installations" on the recommendation of a friend that also had work done by this company.  I'm so glad I did!  Very satisfied with the overall experience.  First, the office staff was helpful, patient, and very responsive to all my questions.  When the job was scheduled, and Mother Nature wasn't playing nice, I was a little concerned.  When the weather cleared, the crew was here and ready to work.  They finished the job in record time and left my yard clean!  I chose the cedar siding because I like the natural look of wood.  I have to say, the result and the quality was better than I imagined....Thank you again.

I have used Custom Installations on a couple siding projects, one for my own home and also on another project. Each time Custom Installations did a great job. On the project on my home, Custom Installations had to overcome a couple difficult challenges due to the age of my home. Great work and respectful workers who answered all my questions etc.

Representative came out and color was chosen for gutters.  Close to time of installation we were told that color was no longer available so someone came out and we had to choose another color (which happened to be a good thing because we then had a sample of the paint on the brick and could more closely match).  I had requested that they come out and remove the gutters before the painting began; then to return once the painters had completed the house to install the new gutters.  They agreed with no extra cost.   However, communications fell apart once the gutters were removed.  I clearly stated that I would call and let them know when the painting was completed; due to the weather, the painting took longer than anyone expected and twice I received calls saying that the gutter installers would be there the next day to do the installation.  This was without calling or discussing with me in any way to determine the progress of the painting.  At the third call, I was literally pushed by the woman on the phone to go out and talk to my painters and make them finish so the gutters could be installed that Monday - which I did.  A few days later I was called and told that the installers couldn't be there for another two weeks.  After a heated conversation, I was called back and told they would be there on the following Wednesday.  After a couple more days, we were called and told that the installers had an opening and could they come early - which they could and did.  The installation was professional and looks fine.  I gave Custom an overall A grade because I think their quote, their willingness to break up the removal and install into two parts, and the actual installation were all professional and warrant recommendation to others as a top notch company.  I had to downgrade the responsiveness and professionalism due to the scheduling communication.

The weather caused some delay in the project.  However, the work went well.   When the job order was incorrect only indicating the gutters on the 2nd to be replace (because a mistake made by the person who came to estimate the job,) the office responded immediately.  Brad, the general manager was very responsive and apologized for the mistake.  His worker came the next day and finished the work beautifully  It has not rained yet so I do not know if the gutters are installed properly.  I am not worried, though.   If they are not, I am sure Customer Gutters will take care of fixing them.

The new gutters look great and work great.  We've had much less of a problem with rain runoff near the house since the installation.

A person did call me and decided that what I was asking for was not a large enough project to warrant a visit to inspect the situation and provide an estimate.  I was quite frustrated that the company would not even come to the location and at least look at it.

I initially contacted Brad in the fall of 2013, and requested a quote which was delivered timely and just a little more expensive than the other two bids I had received. Due to some difficult circumstances, we had to postpone our install.
When in late summer 2014, I contacted Brad again and requested another quote, he said he would just keep the quote the same from the previous year. He mailed me the samples and I picked my color. He called about 2 days before the installers came out as a heads up.
The installers we on time, they were super efficient (they finished in one day instead of the expected 2 days), and everything looks great. It's been two months or so we've had several rains. I have no water cascading off the roof like before and there don't seem to be any drips or other issues at any of the seams.
Great job and if I need gutters again, I'll be working with the same company.
