Description of Work: I called to ask he they could come for a tune up for my grandfather clock. The owner said, flat out " no". We never make house calls on Saturday. I work during the week.. There were no other options, take it or leave it.. I left it..

 + -1 moreexcept to say that when he tried to wind it , the spring broke! But never did he imply that the price would go up that much!!! I was very disappointed in this local business. I will NEVER go in again, and I will tell everyone I can, to stay away!! There is a different clock shop in Lake Forest, I think it is called Heritage Clocks. I have used them before with vey positive results...I was just trying to use a local guy...bad decision!
Description of Work: I have never written a review before in my life, but I MUST alert people to this establishment! I left my clock 6 months ago to have the pendulum fixed. They JUST called me to pick it up....When I did, the job that was verbally quoted as around 40.00, turned out to be 455.00!!!!! Never was I told about the extreme price difference!! When I asked, the owner was really NASTY. He had no reason

 + -1 moreThe technician was prompt and very professional! The work was completed quickly and efficiently and very reasonably priced. This was a clock that was in our family for quite some time and he knew exactly what to do and also gave us some great advice. We will certainly use this company again!
Description of Work: We had an old Grandfather clock that needed repaired and put back together after we transported it and the work done was exceptional!

 + -1 moreQuick and efficient. Got it back in little over a week.
Description of Work: I had a broken clock that needed to be fixed and restored. I was able to get new guts for the clock as well get the second hand replaced. Outwardly the same but working like new. Worth the time and the effort. I will be taking Another clock to be fixed.
