Description of Work: They fixed various leaks in the roof. This was a newer roof that Gregory roofing company put on. Jim Gregory did a horrible job and charged a big price. Cedar roofing company is very accommodating and fixed everything.

 + 1 moreHighly professional, the estimator showed up promptly, explained solutions to our problem and brought some other items to our attention. Keith was very knowledgable. Work was done efficiently and the crew was very polite. A real pleasure. Just had one minor problem-the crew showed up and I had not received a call saying they would be there. Luckily we were home. I called to let them know about it and Keith apologized profusely, it seems he had forgotten to call me. I had just wanted them to know, in case this might happen to someone else-it was nice for someone to own the mistake, versus blaming on someone else.
Description of Work: Changed out 2 old skylights with new, replaced damaged copper valley on roof and installed a heat cable. In addition, caulked chimney, rehung gutter and replaced missing shakes along ridge of roof.

Description of Work: They replaced the roof on house. It was a whole replacement. The reason why we had the roof replaced is because the roof had consistent leaks.

 + -1 moreI called CRC to arrange for an estimate. Keith came at 8:30 in the morning as arranged. He told us that our roof had not been properly coated when it was done 10 years ago, which made the black surface very hot and also made it wear out sooner, and that our skylights had also been improperly installed. (This was confirmed by another company.) The skylights were not a standard size, but he said that they could use a standard Velux size and build out the curb to adjust for the difference. We also asked him to give us a quote on fixing a gutter on a different part of the house that was not pitched properly and some loose siding. He said that he would email the bid. When we had not heard from him after a few days, I emailed him. He sent the bid for the roof and skylights with his reply saying that he had sent it but must have mistyped my email address. He said he was still checking on details in order to bid the gutter and siding repair. We did not hear back from him.
Description of Work: The project was to replace a flat roof on a house addition (approximately 14' by 22') and replace two leaking skylights. The quote we received was for providing and installing two new Velux Curb mounted skylights was $5850, two new wood skylight curbs, removing and disposing of old skylight system, supplying and installing new 2 layer modified torch down roofing system with second layer (top) to be granular surface in a standard color, and various details about how the roof would tie into the existing structure (e.g., under a window, around soil stack, gutters).
