I have worked on and off with Cedar Roofing trying to stay loyal to the local company that installed my current roof, but I will be switching over permanently. They have come out twice in emergencies over the years when others somewhat rudely put us off. Most recently they came to clear snow after we sprung a leak and repaired a small hole they found. In both emergencies they did the needed work right away and well and then some. They also fixed a gutter problem that others had been unable to solve. They are always polite, call back, etc.

Had this company out to fix a leak in my roof. Came out quickly and charged me $460 for the repair. In April I called them because the roof was leaking in the same place. They told me that I would have to pay for another service call and the repair. I explained to him that I paid them less than six months ago to repair the leak and I am still having the same issue. He said they do not warranty their repairs. Asked to speak to a manager. He called me back and said the same thing! I would not do business with this company or recommend them at all!

Very professional-they showed up on time, were polite and neat and worked very hard. A very pleasant experience. They did not mess around-knew what needed to be done and executed it efficiently. Such a nice work crew!

I followed up with them two years ago as we had a problem with water coming in through the windows. They completely said they would come look at the issue but didn't know what would cause the problem. I have not heard anything since then, they have completely ignored me. I recently sent them another email and still no response.

Very professional. Each time, someone came out, assessed what we needed done, sent us an estimate/contract that was appropriate for the job we wanted done. As a lawyer, I appreciate their attention to details in the contracts they sent. They were always prompt in responding to my requests (eg. to get proof of insurance) and in performing work. They never cut corners. Made sure they quickly replaced a window they broke while installing my house roof. Made sure they complied with village requirements. I found them by accident when I went to my village hall a few years ago and heard a contractor recommending them. I recommend them highly.

I thought they did a great job, overall. There were no problems. I had a roof leak and they fixed the roof. They refurbished it and did it at a reasonable price. I thought the price was fair. They did it when they said they would do it. They were good to work with.

It went excellent.  They are very busy but they came out promptly however we were on a waiting list.  They are very professional.

This company could not have been more professional.  They remove the old shingles from only one area of the roof at a time and completely finish that section before moving on to the next. This basically eliminates the worry over weather during the project.  The workmanship was excellent.  People have stopped by just to say how beautiful and well done our new roof is.  The job site was cleaned thoroughly of debris and nails each evening before they left.  Communication with the job foreman was good as well.  All questions were answered and explained.  The estimator remained involved in the project until its completion and answered questions during the process.  The company even supplies a portable toilet to the job site!  We could not have been more satisfied with the result.  We had anticipated the replacement of our roof with dread both for the unbelievable expense and the anticipated actual project, and wound up feeling that we had made a great decision.

This past winter we had ice damming and water started coming in.  We incurred $40,000 in damages to the interior of our home.  I was told by the roofer we called to correct the problem that our roof had not been installed properly because they failed to tuck the ice and water shield under the fascia.  I called Cedar Roofing to ask if they would correct the problem.  I spoke to the owner.  He told me that my 2 year warranty expired in 2013 and that ice dams were not his problem.  I tried to explain to him that the ice damming was not his fault but the water infiltration was a direct result of their faulty installation of the ice and water shield.  He hung up on me in mid-sentence saying he was very busy and had to get going.  If you hire this company, once they complete the job, you are on your own.  They do not stand by their work.  In addition, they use subcontractors and do not have uniform standards for installation.  The owner does not monitor quality of work.  Other reputable roofers have advised me to replace my roof even though it is only 3 years old.

I would highly recommend CRC for anyone needing a new roof. The team was great to work with starting with the Sales Team and continuing through to the crew that did the roof replacement. At each step of the process they did exactly what they said they would, at the time they said they would do it. The execution of the work was extremely professional from the time the roll off dumpster arrived, throughout the construction, and upon cleaning up my yard upon completion.
Replacing a roof is an expensive investment to make, and having a contractor come in and deliver the way CRC did made it a very positive experience. The roof looks fantastic and we are very happy. Kudos to Mike, Tarsi and team on a job well done.

The experience could not have been better.  CRC is very familar with my community and replaces countless roofs in my area.  They know exactly what the work should cost and charge accordingly.  Their may have been a better price (there always is) but not a better value.  The entire process, from initial contact until the final person was off my property could not have gone better.  The roof is of excellent quality both in terms of installation and material.  I have received numerous compliments from neighbors and other contractors who have been to my home.  On the final day CRC was on my property I came home for lunch and a quick look at the work's progression.  There were probably 8 men, stacks of material, tools, waste and a pota potty on my property.  When I returned home at 5:30 everyone and everything was gone.  Not a single nail or scrap of material was left behind.  13 months later and I have yet to find a single nail.  I've had a number of friends and relatives uses CRC in the meantime and eveyone has thanked me.  I cannot say enough about these people.  They are truly outstanding.
