Architectural Gardens

All work was delivered as designed and indicated. Work was performed in a timely manner and with a high degree of quality. I am consistently pleased with the work and would highly recommend to others.

It went very well. I stipulated specifically that my initial goal was an overall plan. Margaret provided the design which was very nice. I provided specific requirements and she took those into account. The design was very attractive and curvy. It created a new private area in the front yard. Nice!
The team who cut the beds and planted the trees and shrubs were extremely professional and I was very impressed by them. Very kind and helpful to me as I continually pestered them with questions. 
The work was done quietly! They hand cut and dug the beds and everything was spot on to the design. The trees and shrubs arrived a day or so later. The spruces were monstrous and really look great. I can't wait until they fill in to make a windbreak (which was an initial requirement).
I would say on the negative side, which wasn't much, it took a while to get the plan and once decided, it took about three weeks for them to get started. But once they started it went quickly. I do know they had other jobs, so I guess this can't be helped. 
I would say that I was surprised how much everything cost. Landscaping is expensive!! I did price out plants once I got the initial estimates, and the materials and sizes quoted weren't cheap, puny shrubs from the big box store. When I saw them in person at a professional nursery, I was glad of that.
All in all, I'll use them again. I loved the plan. She told me that she doesn't like to do overall plans so much because people change their minds over time. She's right. I have already. I'll keep to the physical design, but try to incorporate more native plantings than the original items specified.

Excellent experience. We had multiple questions over several weeks leading up to contract. Crews are very professional. Work site was always picked up and left neat. Margaret was a great person to be dealing with.

Her crew is great and the design was inspiring. She was flexible, knowledgeable, and really understands scale, so everything is put in the right place. She was very creative with many flowering trees and shrubs. They had a great execution and everything went well overall!
