They installed shingles that we provided that match our new roof on our house, and gave us a credit for the "included" shingles.
We are very happy with both the work done and the product provided. It's a little pricey compared to the competition, but the quality seems worth it - particularly for something that should last 25+ years.
The surprising thing was how many options are offered to customize the shed. Our old shed did not have a loft so we weren't sure we needed one. We got it any way...What a BIG difference the loft makes in freeing up space to move around inside the shed! All the big and light stuff goes up there, not piled in your way. I'm 6' tall and have no problem walking under the loft without bending over.
If we should ever need another shed I would certainly go with Tuff Shed!
Initially they did not want to do much work for us and then when they realized we were serious buyers they were all over us with phone calls. We negotiated a price and delivery date but the salesman was a little vague on what was included.
After we agreed to everything I was told it was up to ME to go to the village hall and get the building permit and deal with the city bureaucracy, which I did. Of course upon inspection the village required a 8" gravel base which halted the job until i had that put in. I felt if the sales people or a representative from Tuff Shed came to my house prior to installation everything would have gone smoother. Apparently that was not an option.
The installers were fantastic. They were polite, fast and very respectful.
Like I said, the product is great, the service is fantastic but the sales portion was a little unsettling. I would still recommend them.
The whole experience was great - from the shopping phase, to providing direction and assistance with local permits and approvals, to a very clean and efficient installation.
The quality of their product far exceeds anything else I found on the market.
