Very well. We weren't sure what to do. Fix the old bed rails. Or what? Jean-Jacques explained our alternatives. Fix the old ones. Or custom-build new ones. The time (and, thus, cost) of either were pretty close. Except in the latter, we'd have new, sturdy rails in fact superior to the original. Bed-rail fittings are not cookie-cutter, though. And as Jean-Jacques worked through to the final solution it was evident that he knew what he was doing and, more importantly, the sort who would stick with it until he got us to an optimal end. The rails are snug, strong and beautiful. His eye for color and finish are remarkable.

Jean-Jacques gave us an accurate estimate, picked up the furniture, kept it for a few weeks (as indicated), and returned everything looking as good as new.
