Great. We were able to schedule the work quickly and everything went as expected

We were thrilled to find a local company this past fall to rewire our electric to the garage, upgrade the outlets and install new exterior garage lights which they set to a timer. Father and sons were very professional, knowledgeable and proactive in their recommendations for the optimal solution to our issues. In addition to responding promptly to our first call, they were able to schedule the work in timely fashion and complete it all in one day.  When they buried the electrical pipes, they were careful to preserve the sod they removed, and then replace it so that the appearance was preserved afterward. Their prices were reasonable, too, and we were extremely pleased with the result.  We will not hesitate to use them again.  They were a pleasure to work with.

During the deep freeze and foot of snow, Bill came out the day after I called him. My furnace died and I have some burst water pipes. I shut off the main electrical beaker after noticing a broken wire spark at the water meter. Bill took care of the wire. He also checked the electric at the breaker box and made sure I will have sufficient power for my sump pump. He explains what he does and always answers my questions in language I can understand. He takes the time to offer any insight he may have. He didn't try to sell me anything, unlike the furnace guy. He called me back a few hours after I called him, unlike the plumber who still hasn't called. Bill has worked on my 115 year old house in the past and I am always happy with the process and the result.

I had a great deal of work done on my house I realized that we had wanted to get some outside outlets as well as other misc work done As we were getting a skim coat of stucco on the house, we wanted to get the outlet done before the new stucco I called Riordan Electric and explained the situation He got me into the schedule so the work was completed before the new stucco was completed

Riordan does an excellent job. I have full confidence in his knowledge of electrical code. It took exactly as long as he said it would Only reason for the two B's was that he did not return my initial calls right away. I was happy with previous work he did for me, so I called on him till we hooked up.
I did get this job quoted from three other heating contractors; Riordan was half the price with more skill/experience than would have gotten from HVAC contractors.

I called and suggested that I would like to change some exterior light fixtures, add landscape lighting and add light fixtures on the garage. Because the fixture I wanted had to be custom ordered, he made excellent recommendations on sources. The job extended over a longer period of time while I waited for the fixture to arrive. However, as soon as it did, he responded quickly and came back several times to make adjustments to the illumination as I requested.

I was having drain tile and sump pump installed and forgot to have new electrical circuit installed prior to work. I called Riordan Electric, they called back same day and came out and did the work in less than 24-hours. Bill was very responsive, professional and did a very good job. He fit me into the schedule given my circumstance, did everything by code and placed outlet in right place without my direction.
I would definitely use them again.

Riordan Electric, was prompt, good communicator, cleaned up work space when finished.
Estimates were very accurate, very helpful with ideas.
I also, used them last summer to repair several small electrical things.

I used Bill Riordan to install new electrical service last year. He was recommended by another contractor I selected from Angie's List who felt the job was too much for him. He did a good job in a timely manner with no problems. I called him this year primarily for the bathroom fixture and the circuit addition and then added some other smaller items. He works pretty quickly and is responsive to any issues that may arise. He cleans up well after completion. He is generally prompt but if running late, will call and let me know.

Mr. Riordan handled all the work himself. He was gracious about scheduling difficulties related to the installation of a bookcase.

We were extremely happy with the work Riordan Electric Performed. Mr. Riordan first came out to our home several months prior to quote rewiring another section of our home, that another contractor had advised us to do quickly. Mr. Riordan evaluated the same wiring, acknowledging the primary concern of safety, as we have not had any short circuits, and concluded it was not a necessity at this time despite the fact that meant less business for him. We decided to rewire the section of the house in the work described above as we were changing fixtures out in that area and had other small jobs to do anyway. Mr. Riordan is very knowledgeable and experienced and also supervises an apprentice that I found to have superior knowledge/training than previous electrical contractors we have used. Mr. Riordan and/or his apprentice evaluated the condition of the electrical in other areas of the home for safety and functionality and clearly communicated his findings. Mr. Riordan and his apprentice were extremely courteous, prompt, and clean. I did not even need to sweep up after they left. Mr. Riordan provided all materials; the cost was exactly what he communicated it would be. He quoted me other small jobs for the future. We will use him again without hesitation.

We were originally quoted $1500 but due to old wiring in our 1914 home, to add the existing ceiling fixture to a three-way wall switch (which increase time and scope) resulting in the final cost of $2100. It took two days over a week to have all the things completed. The owner Bill is friendly and skilled in his trade causing minimal plaster damage. We supplied all the outlets, covers, wall switches, wall covers, fixtures and exhaust fan because we wanted specific ones. The owner Bill came the first day and did the majority of the work and that is when he discover that the wiring was shorting out when he tried to install the wall switch. He explained the situation and quoted the addition cost to us one the spot that was $600 for two guys to rewire the section from the basement to the first floor entryway.

Bill, Rodney and Chris definitely know electrical. They were honest, prompt, responsive and did a great job for us. We found that they were great to work with. We'll use them for future electrical work.

When we purchased our house, we had a first floor family room that had no overhead light. We needed to install a can light in each of the ceiling coffers and be able to control those light from a switch. We chose Riordan Electric and are very pleased with the work.
