Lagrange Hardwood Flooring

Called vendor for estimate to have floors redone and chose theirs based on owner Bill Vail's experience working on our type of home (Baltis Ranch). His estimate was competitive with other vendors we met with. Work was scheduled and they went to work relatively soon after. Aside from some arm twisting at the end to fix some trim work I wasn't happy with, the whole experience was relatively smooth and hassle free. The performed the work they agreed to and were done within a week's time. However, it's only been six months and my floor has cracked floor board. My wife and myself called their number several times and left messages to schedule someone to come out and inspect. To date, we've not had our calls returned to schedule work. EXCEPT,  on one occassion, the owner, Bill, called and left a message on my wife's phone mistakenly thinking we were calling for a flooring estimate! Needless to say, we are very upset that the owner will not return phone calls to service previous work but is happy to return calls that are for new business. We've finally given up with getting them out to fix their work and have called other vendors. If a vendor is not willing to stand by their work and/or at the very least come out and look at the problem then they are not someone we can recommend.
