EDDIE Z'S IN-HOME CLEANERS

Order was for window treatment for five windows: Living room (3) Comfortex Sheer Dining Area (1) Comfortex Sheer Kitchen (2) Woven Wood Shades - CCL The (4) Comfortex were satisfactory (but would never order again). The woven woods were subpar quality ($519 EACH). The shades are approx. 6 inches too short and 3 inches too narrow. They were for "outside mount" however the continuous cord was installed to the frame, so that whenever you went to open or close the shade it would unravel the shade a little bit each time. If the shade was open all the way it "bunched" everything together. The contract was for Eddie Z shades, the box in which they came in indicated they were 3 day blinds. This is not indicated anywhere on contract. From the day they were installed, I told the installer they were not satisfactory. I have made numerous calls and have NEVER had my calls returned. The Design Contractor said at the time of the order that if I was not satisfied the product would be replaced at NO EXTRA CHARGE. The only offer that Eddie Z has made is to replace the product but if I desired a product of better quality I would have to PAY THE DIFFERENCE. I asked where I could return the wovens; they will not take them back. I have offered to pay the balance due on the Sheers less the cost of the wovens. They will not accept return or refund. Advice to anyone considering Eddie Z's, go to Walmart, Target etc if you want a Better Shade.
