They did an excellent job.. I would highly recommend using this company. In fact I am using them again to do the second floor painting of my main living and dining room and kitchen areas. They responded quickly to a request for quote. Graz arrived promptly as scheduled and provided a quote a short time after the initial visit. The workers were professional, verified the details on the job upon arrival and did a very thorough and professional job. They were also quiet — they did not play any loud music. The Certa Pro people cleaned up before leaving. Very happy that I chose this provider.

the team was professional and courteous. they could have been more precise around the molding, but i think that would only bother a perfectionist type person like myself. It was a good price.

The owner is very pleasant to deal with. He arranged a color consultation with a Benjamin Moore for me to identify my shutter color. That was super helpful. He also recommended the trim color I ended up using. Very nice crew. The team lead was unable to be there the first day so I had to walk through all my trouble areas with the crew myself (rotted board, caulking that needed replacing, etc). They wanted to do a good job and were willing to touch up missed areas that I identified. I had to do a thorough review of the work at the end to find missed spots. I expected that I would have to do that when I took on this project.

Quality of painting was excellent, but they didn't clean up that well. They left some paint on the bricks and driveway that I had to clean up.

It went very well. The consultation was prompt and helpful discussing what sheen of paint would be best. The painting started and finished as promised. There were 4 people in the crew and they each went about their work efficiently. They did an excellent job on all the trim. I would definitely hire them again.

It went well, but I noticed that a small crack above the window in the foyer was still showing. They returned and repaired it.

It went very well. We used the color selection service that they offered and it helped tremendously. The front door and screen were custom work and took more time than anticipated but it was absolutely worth it! The team was very prompt and very neat. If there were any questions, the painters asked what we wanted done before preceeding. The owner, Graz, kept in touch and checked on the painting as it progressed. He checked in with us after completion of the project as well.

They were great.

When I contacted them I wanted an estimate and they sent "James" the next day for a formal quote. James was very professional and provided a written estimate the following day. We scheduled the work as dictated by the weather and work crew availability. Both the outside and inside work was completed within 4 days of starting.  The CertaPro crew performed the jobs very well and were very conscientious in protecting the inside furniture and floors and the outside grounds and adjacent brink work to the ceder. Clean up was very good both inside and outside.  I would recommend them to others and will use them for the large scale painting project.

While I had very high expectations for CertaPro's quality of service, I did not receive the level of service that I was sold. In my initial meeting with Graz Matutis (local geography lead), I explained my frustrations with prior painting companies and he assured me their level of quality would be far superior to their competitors.  I obtained three quotes to have our main floor painted (1,800 sq ft) including all walls, ceilings, trim and windows.  CertaPro was this highest quote but when I shared the amounts of the other proposals he decreased the quote roughly 10% to match the second highest quote I received which estimated 3 resources for 8 days.   My issues started on the first day when Graz said three individuals and himself would be on-site Monday morning at 8am to get started.  At 9am two individuals came and finally got started.  The entire project took the team of two 5 days, an estimated 65-70 hours which was far less than the original estimate of a team of three for 5-7 days.  Additionally, the crew did not apply a second quote of paint on all of trim and windows which they specifically agreed to do to match the other quote I received.  The most frustrating part of the program was the lack of QA by Graz.  He was a very good salesman on the front end and made a number of promises that were clearly not communicated to the team doing the work.  Additionally, Graz spent a total of two hours at our property over the course of the 5 day project and typically only stopped in for a quick check-in with the team.  All of the detailed quality review was left to my wife and I, as we spent a considerable amount of time reviewing the work throughout the job, marking spots that were either not prepped correctly, not prepped at all or not painted correctly including a lot of overspray on our walls, windows and fixtures.  The team came back Friday afternoon to clean-up all of the mistakes made on the project however they were rushed and did not get to everything such as cleaning the excess paint from the windows, door hardware, etc.  My wife was very frustrated with the amount of paint dripped onto our hardwood floors, windows and ceiling fan in our family room which she had to clean.  When I brought these oversights to Graz's attention, in some cases, he was condescending and did not express the urgency expected given the number of issues noted.  Based on my experience I would not recommend CertaPro.
