Blue Pearl is an amazing company to work with. I worked with their team to pick out some quartz and have it installed in my kitchen in a new townhome I'd just moved into. From the first contact all the way through the process, the communication was amazing and professional. Alma helped me pick out the perfect stone and I felt like I was her only customer with all the attention she gave me. The quartz is beautiful, The installation was quick and clean. I am so happy it's a whole process. I would use them again in a heartbeat! You don't find customer service like this anymore.

The work is beautiful, but I was troubled by Theresa’s decision to NOT take responsibility for a SOMEWHAT inexpensive mistak she made. Incredibly defensive and unwilling to resolve in a fair way. Actually suggested interior designer accept blame for her own mistake.Know the kind of person you are working with here.

We did not go forward with them just because we had other options that were more attractive. It was fairly a minor interaction. It was just a quick phone call. They did not come out or met with anyone. Their quote for this work was $1600. When we initially talked to her she was very quick and showed us pictures and got us numbers and afterwards she requested me to someone while we were working on something else, and after a while the clarity on their responsiveness and their emails went down so when we picked up the phone and called them it was kind of clear, and then we were able to clear up a lot by doing that. We would have felt comfortable going forward with them but it was a question of the price and materials available.

Initially we met Teresa at Blue Pearl Stone in LaGrange in early September. After several visits to their store, we decided on Giallo Vicenza for our granite and Mother of Pearl quartzite for our island. Teresa and Christine were very helpful and easy to work with. Their communications were timely and they answered all of our questions.
Blue Pearl Stone offers numerous options and I really enjoyed being able to see the slabs in natural lighting outside. It was a hard decision because there were so many beautiful combinations. We also decided to do an extension to our existing island and a difference in elevation created a little waterfall.
After we returned from our vacation, Ken came out to measure for the countertops and island with a tape measure. He did not use laser measurements. A week later our granite and quartzite were ready for installation. Ken and his crew came out and installed quickly.
Of particular note was the miter cut done on the island extension. An exceptional job was done and we have gotten so many compliments on the island. My husband says we should have done the whole kitchen in Mother of Pearl. But I opted for a location that would stand out as a focal point and that is my island.
We will return to Blue Pearl Stone when future projects, such as our bathrooms, are ready for an update. You can't beat their prices, professionalism, and punctuality.
Thanks again to Teresa, Christine, and Ken!
Update: One change I would make in my kitchen at this point would be to use a stainless steel sink instead of the Minerali. I'm finding that the beige sink scuffs very easily when washing pots and pans. It's evident that this sink will require more effort in maintaining. I'm using Chlorax Gel w/bleach and it's helping. My previous sink was Swanstone and I didn't have this problem. I had hoped the Minerali was as good as the Swanstone and would have performed as well as it did. But it does not. This is a product problem only and not the responsibility of Blue Pearl Stone.

It was a great experience for me, although it might have been a nightmare for the owner, Teresa.
I was looking for granite for my small kitchen countertop and was hoping to use a remnant, since it would be less expensive.
I also wanted to visit granite yards myself, and not go through a and quot;designerand quot; or a kitchen planner. After visiting 2 of the larger, closer- to- Chicago yards, I had not found anything suitable. I was hoping to find a granite reminent for my small kitchen, since I was on
a budget and remnents save you money if you can find one the right size, l stumbled upon Blue Pearl Stone and called Teresa on the phone, explaining what I was looking for, and she looked thru her computer and told me that she had a remnant (an uncommon one, and quot;Astrus, and quot; which I was specifically hoping to find). Teresa sent me a picture and told me I could come
and look at it during their open weekday hours.
My husband and I went to the yard which was well laid out, making it easy to see the granite choices. It was not a huge yard compared to others, but there were a variety of slabs and some remnents to look at. Many other granite yards display indoors, where it is dark and hard to see.
Teresa was busy that day but Christina helped me. She was very helpful, showing me other choices since I was having a hard
time picturing the Astrus pattern in my kitchen. I couldn't decide that day, so over the course of the next 2 months or more, Teresa helped me via phone calls and email. Every time I was unsure, she had other suggestions and was more than patient. Blue P S does a
commercial business and I think I must have taken up more time than most of Teresa's larger project clients, but I could never discern any impatience or annoyance when I would call her.
Eventually I purchased the original granite remnent!! The one I saw the first day! It is beautiful, and I enjoy it every time I walk in
my kitchen.
Ken the installer did a great job, too. After the counter was installed and paid for, I had a concern about a small flaw that you could hardly see, so Ken came out within a week and and quot;tweekedand quot; it and everything looks fantistic.
I would highly recommend Blue Pearl Stone to anyone willing to put some time into traveling to the suburbs (I live in Chicago) and
who wants interesting choices, great advice, and extremely fair prices. I now have and quot;designerand quot; granite, instead of your ho hum common type of granite at much less cost than a Big Box home store, or, middle man would charge.
They also sell other countertop material such as quartz.
