After a change in the start date and some miscommunication regarding final design the installer performed an excellent job after reviewing exactly what he was going to do and how. Although the installer arrived with countertop protection and tarps for wet saw cutting in an adjacent interior space (because of the season), we provided our own protection over floor and countertops and separated the work area from the remaing occupied spaces with plastic sheeting. The installer respected our home and treated it as if it were his own. We were very impressed with his skill especially in cutting and fitting inside and outside corners.
Description of Work: Services performed included preliminary design services, material reviews, material selection, cost estimating and scheduling. The scope of work included a kitchen backsplash on 4 walls. Using the Barrington, IL shop, the selection of ceramic and glass mosaic tile combinations was outstanding and knowledgeable staff was helpful. Other design build establishments were also reviewed but we selected Mona Lisa over other choices and they were not the low bidder.
