It went great, they did the roof in one day and came the next day to inspect and cleaned everything up after them. Everyone was courteous and worked very hard staying til nighttime to finish. The project manager kept us informed and we are extremely happy with th work.

When putting the project out for bid, Davis Roofing came back with one of the lower proposals.  It wasn't too detailed and listed out the details of the job on one page, but I agreed to the proposal and the job was scheduled.  However, they ended up showing up on the wrong date, and the dumpster had to be sent back.  Once they came on the correct date, the job was completed in two days and the roof looks good.  They cleaned up fairly well, and I haven't had any issues with the roof so far.  The main issue that I encountered was that there wasn't much communication with these guys (that's part of what led to them initially showing up on the wrong date), so if you're looking for a roofing company that will walk you through every step of the job, you may not find it here.

I was amazed at the promptness, courtesy, attentiveness, quality and efficiency of Davis employees. Always kept me updated, addressed any questions that arose and the clean up was exceptional. Davis Roofing is an expectional roofing company from the office staff to the roofers to the supervisor, and to the owner of the company, who took the time out of his schedule to stop by. The cost of the job was amazing as well - really received my money's worth. Highly recommend this company from the smallest to the largest roofing issues anyone might encounter.

The project was thorough and professional throughout the process. They responded quickly and the estimate was completed in a timely manner. I got six estimates and Davis' price was very fair for a GAF certified installation. The sales representative and crew chief (both family members) had good suggestions and were a pleasure to work with. The crew was hard working and responsive. While the crew chief was not present the entire time, he came by at regular intervals and I had his cell number. They protected the landscape well during the job, and cleaned up the area both days. The new roof looks great.

After having a local handyman patch the same leak 3 times, I decided to call in a roofer. Davis Roofing was recommended by Angie's List. They inspected the roof and scheduled a person to fix the roof within a week. Work took less than an hour to complete and has not leaked since.

There is not much to add. They showed up on time( to the minute!) to inspect our old roof and give us an estimate, which included things we had not thought of, all of which for good suggestions. These additional things ended up costing a bit more than just the original base estimate, but we are glad we went with the extras. I believe that is why we got the aluminum cladding for free. It was their way of telling us that they appreciated our business!
The only (minimally) and quot;downsideand quot; I can think of to mention is that the roof took a day longer than the original plan. That was easily fixed with an additional phone call to the police to extend our ticket-free on-street parking permit one more day.
You ask if we would use them again in the future. I want to say and quot;yes,and quot; but I surely hope that question never arises!

The roofer showed up late for the estimate and did not call until he was already more than 30 minutes late. (He apologized saying that a meeting went on longer than anticipated.) However, he did make up for it by getting the estimate done right away and bringing it to us in person. He also informed us in a timely manner of rain delays. The job was done well and the final price was in line with the estimate.

Davis Roofing is a top notch company. I called on Dec. 13th in a panic as it was raining and one of our skylights was leaking. Since the skylights were 5 years old we have always had to be diligent with the silicone sealant to attempt to keep them from leaking. They were now 15 years old and hadn't leaked for 3 years. I had contracted to have painters come in and paint the inside of our home on Dec. 19th and now one of the skylights was starting to leak again. We needed to do something before the painters came to do that room. Dan came out on Dec. 15th and went up on the roof to examine the roof and skylights. Good news and bad news. The good news was that our roof was in good shape - just needs some new nails and minor repairing in places. The bad news is he was unable to see why this skylight was leaking as from his observation it looks like the other skylights that have never leaked ( we have 4 skylights total). We decided because of the age of these 2 skylights and the frustration of the continuing leaks to just replace them. Two of Davis Roofing crew came out on Wed. Dec. 21st to install them. I should mention here that Dan went through the extra work of contacting a company to install the exact window film on the new skylights before they were installed that was on the old skylights so that they would match the other 2 skylights up there. They installed them without scratching the window film. They also discovered when removing the old skylights that the rain/ice shield which is required for installation was never used on these 2 skylights. Knowing that we realized that we would have been forever fighting leaks.
We are very satisfied with Davis Roofing and without a doubt will use them again this spring to touch up some areas on our roof. And also to check out the other 2 skylights that have never leaked to see if they in fact have the rain/ice shield installed and if they don't have it to have Davis Roofing install it on them.
