ANAGNOS DOOR CO

The garage gate (a grille-style gate) stopped functioning behind our three-flat building. I called Anagnos Door Co. because it made and installed the gate. A repairman was sent within an hour and found the problem immediately, though he could only recommend calling an electrician as there was short somewhere in the wiring to the gate. He was present for less than an hour. This is where my problem arises. I admit, on the phone prior to the appointment, Anagnos did say the charge would be $123 an hour with a minimum of 2 hours, so I realize I have no defensible case against them as I agreed to the terms. However, since the repairman was not actually able to repair anything, and was on site for less than an hour, I did hold out hope that the charge would be reduced. I was wrong. Basically, don't call them unless you know for certain that something is wrong with the garage door or gate itself, otherwise you'll be paying $246 to be told to call an electrician.
