Will County Siding & Windows has been a family owned and operated business since its start in 1976. We have always prided ourselves in professional installation and customer service. We offer only quality products in our siding and window lines, featuring vinyl and steel sidings, aluminum soffit fascia, gutters and windows for every need. We are licensed, bonded and insured, V.S.I. certified and a member of the B.B.B. We have a showroom located at 1718 Irish Indian Trail in Joliet, IL. Great experience overall. Bill was a very responsive and informative salesman. He answered all of our questions; stopped by several times and never made us feel like our questions/concerns were frivolous.
The installers were professional and thorough; they did a great job.
It was very nice to work with this company.
A few months later water was pouring in the house from the bottom of the door, the company was responsive in sending someone out to fix it, claiming that the first installers must have blocked the drain???
Then within the first year the "Energy Master" glass started breaking apart between the panes of glass I called to tell them and was told the company that "owned" the warranty went out of business and there was nothing they could do to honor that warranty that would have to PURCHASE another door, they might give discount on labor.
"We, at Will County Siding, have a commitment to our customers and our community. We pride ourselves in being open & honest with our customers. The customer called to cancel the estimate after business hours, so I did not get the message until the following day. By showing up during a severe storm, I think I show commitment to our customers. I might add, that this customer turned me away, not offering shelter from the storm. I must comment on all allegations by this customer, as they are unfounded: 1) We DO offer Tyvek, however, foam insulation is more efficient. It is also waterproof as well. Think of a foam cooler, or pool toys. They float because they are waterproof, plus insulate the home. 2) The area of concern with raccoon issues can't be covered properly, because it is so close to the ground that our workers can not get underneath it, and also swing a hammer. I advised her of this during the estimate and suggested that she maybe get a general contractor to build a wall. It is better to be open & honest about this issue, than to promise something we can't deliver with quality. 3) This customer said in her complaint that we were the cheapest, but gave a "B" on price? 4) This customer did not use us, but gave a "C" on quality? 5) I was on time for BOTH estimates (one during a storm), and she gave a "B" for punctuality?"
