Mary Lou does excellent work for a very good price. In 2014, she repaired a Lenox tea cup ornament that had fallen and broken. This year, my favorite tea cup planter broke over the winter. I was able to take the pieces to Char Crews in Wilmette, who sends it to Mary Lou (no separate shipping fee). Mary Lou put the pieces back together and even did a little touch up of paint where there rim had been chipped. My pieces, while dear to me, are not particularly fine or valuable but she does such good work, I would recommend Mary Lou for any repair job, especially for a project you really care about.

Mediocre job but I know what kind of work she has done in the past and would bring something to her again.

She has an alternative drop off site so I did not have to drive to Joliet IL. The drop off process was easy and the pick up process was easy too. Great responsive time on all communications. Her crystal service was the only one that I could find in the immediate area and Joliet IL, although not far from where I live, would have been at least a 45 minute one-way drive for me. Her drop off site was a 15 minute drive for me and I shop / peruse at the antique store where I dropped off my item!. He cost to repair the crystal was far below the repair cost to repair the crystal if I chose to have Swarovski repair it. A+ SERVICE

Mary Lou is wonderful.  She can repair items so that the breaks don't show and it's a s good as new.  The drop off and pick up services are very convenient.   I will continue to use this provider at every opportunity.

I spoke to Mary Lou over the phone and she explained what she could and couldn't do for a repair. I confirmed with her that I could take my item to Char Crews in Wilmette, to send to her. It took maybe a week or two for the repair and Char Crews called me when it was ready. The tea cup looks great. I was very pleased to have the item fixed. The cost of the repair was very reasonable.

It went better than expected. I didn't know a service like this existed, but because of entropy, I needed her. She was great in all areas. Char Crews packaged up the goods, she picked up and dropped off and I got a call when it was ready. Couldn't have been easier (and painless).

She was outstanding. Until she repaired it, I didn’t even know that there was such a thing as crystal repair.
