It was a very smooth process from start to finish. We were extremely pleased with everything.

They were the first quote we received and they had the best price. We had other quotes that were more expensive for units that were less efficient. The salesperson, Tony was very nice and answered all of our questions and followed-up with us thru the process.

Installation went great, they were clean and very professional, even took the time to show us how to use the new thermostat after everything was installed.

They even called us a few weeks ago and informed us about tax deductions that we can get! I would definitely recommend them!!!

Perfect.  It was my second time using them and they're always great.   I would recommend contacting them via phone rather than email, as their dispatch department is amazing.    Promptly scheduled, arrived on time, very professional, and most importantly fixed the issue.   Freon was added and everything is working perfect again.   Will always call them for any HVAC issue.

The thing that first impressed me was how pleasant the staff was when I called them.  I simply took their name from the phone book without knowing anything about them other than that they have been in business in Plainfield, Illinois for quite some time.  The ladies that answered the phone were very pleasant, something I rarely see with contractors. 
The service tech they sent to recharge my AC unit showed me every step of what he was doing.  I know a bit about AC and he did everything correctly with his gauges.  I had no gas left in my system at all.  I knew i had a leak and have been nursing the unit along for some time.  In addition, my furnace was developing a crack in the heat exchanger so I knew it was time to open the wallet.
The service tech told me that my cost for the day would be deducted from my cost of the furnace and he was correct.  I had looked into the claims on radio from a dealer that offered you an AC unit for $1 if you purchase a furnace from them.  It's a hard core upsell from what I've read.  The sales rep from Johansen and Andersen didn't play any of those games, matched my unit to my needs exactly and arranged for a quick install.  He was very professional.  He also showed up to check on the crew on the day of install to see if we had any questions.  I thought that was very professional.
The installation crew was quick and very skilled.  They knew exactly what to do and worked quickly and quietly.  Which was good because I work nights and had to go to bed while my wife stayed with the crew.  They left the place clean and answered all of my questions and those of my wife.  We couldn't have been happier.  I work with contractors all day so I can spot a con job or short cuts pretty quickly.  I saw no nonsense or games here.  I would recommend Johansen and Anderson for routine HVAC care as well as installation of new units to any of my neighbors.  Their pricing is fair and they offer good equipment

Furnace went out late evening on one of the coldest nights of the winter. Arrived within three hours of call. Replaced part to get it working for night which required several hours of work. Old furnace with history of problems so applied portion of service call cost to new furnace installed following week. Knowledgeable technicians. Helpful and friendly sales person who even stopped back to see how the install was going. Overall friendly, knowledgable and professional.

Top of the line product to cool my entire upstairs.  Any parts or service in the future no charge.  York Air-Conditioning.  Outside and Attic Units for all 3 1/2 bedrooms and Bath upstairs.

They got the job done and I would give them A's. They did exactly what they said they were going to do. The men came in and they looked to me like they knew what they were doing and they were very efficient. I've had no problems with the heating and air conditioning systems since they put them in.

on time, very professional, cleaned up after, explained new thermostat, answered all my questions, and were very patient.  provided all applicable booklets for both furnace and ac.  explained they would register for the warranties. would definitely recommend

Everything works out fine. Did the replacement in one day. Provided a complete estimate prior to scheduling the replacement. Applied credit for a visit just prior to repair the old furnace/AC. Very response to emergency repairs. Very innovative on how they get a repair person to your home as soon as possible, including bringing our off-duty repair staff (who lived only two miles away) to do the repair instead of waiting for someone on duty who was must further away.

They were very responsive and within my house in a few hours for A/C service.   People answering phone on dispatch very professional.  Made 2 trips to correct issue and A/C working perfect again.   Will definitely use again.    Found out my company uses them as well and are performing a large 2 HVAC installation for us which I have no doubt will go perfectly.   Thank you.

They knew what they were doing. They did their job. They were here for 2 days and did not interfere with my daily activities. They were respectful of my pets. They were going in and out of the house so they asked if the pets were secured. They were very considerate. They did a very clean professional looking job.

They were friendly and polite on the phone. They were able to send someone out the same day. However, one of the reasons that I chose to call them was because they had a coupon available on Angie's List for $20 off a service call. They refused to honor the coupon. I was told that it would only be honored if we actually had the repair done. So technically , the coupon is $20 off a repair, not a service call. They did offer to take $20 off the price of installing a new air conditioner unit. The air conditioner was not repaired. Instead, I was encouraged to consider purchasing a new one.The next day I had a technician from another company come out for a second opinion. The second technician from the other company diagnosed the problem quickly, refilled it with freon, and charged me less than half of what the Johansen and Anderson technician estimated. He said our air conditioner appeared to be in good shape and was, in his opinion, worth repairing. It is now working well.
