Erik was able to fit me in on short notice. He arrived early and completed a thorough inspection. He went above and beyond talking us through the entire inspection helping us to understand what was being done, why, the outcome, and whether the repair needed a handyman or professional. Erik was very professional throughout. He provides a very nice handbook that provides a lot useful information for after your purchase that is directly tied to the inspection completed and continued home maintenance. My inspection report was provided the same day and he uses a nifty app that allows you to export everything you’d like to request from the seller into a nice report that includes pictures and his notes from the inspection. Top notch service from a top notch guy. Oh, and the price is more than reasonable!!!

Our eyes were opened to the condition of a very beautifully staged home that unfortunately had some costly problems-some bringing the home up to code- and we were able to walk away from what would have been a money pit and repair scheduling nightmare. Erik was thorough, and very patient with our questions, explaining, but not making us feel unintelligent. We would certainly recommend him.

Had a home inspection performed for new home purchase. The inspection was quite thorough and was not rushed. I was present for inspection and Erik took great time with me to personally point out things that I would later find in his report. Was great to have an in-person reference in addition to the excellent digital report. Report was very easy to put into pdf to print entire thing if that would be needed. Great experience. Erik was on time and very professional, after the inspection he walked us through all of the problems he found in the home and answered all of our questions. The report was very easy to navigate even on my phone. We will definitely be using recommending him in the future.

I needed a home inspection sooner rather than later, and when I called Build Tech, Erik was able to get me in almost immediately the following day. Being a first time home buyer, I wasn't very knowledgeable about how much went into the maintenance and upkeep of a home, so of course I had a lot of questions.
