 + -1 moreHe was fast! Showed up at the house, took a couple of hours, I just let him work on the car in the driveway while I was inside cleaning the house. He knocked on the door when he was done. What i like the most about my install is that he did it with my factory radio, which will get me the most money at trade in time.
Description of Work: ipod adapter & hands free bluetooth kit installation in a 2003 VW Golf This guy, Karl Nitz, is a genius. He does all of the mobile installations for radio/podcast host Steve Dahl and his team. He was prompt, professional and really knowledgable. He has 26 years experience in the industry. He speaks in engineer speak sometimes, and really knows his stuff. He did a fantastic job! I've had no problems with his work and it's 3 years later. He does in automotive: blue tooth hands free kits ipod & aux audio adapters satellite radio integrations radar detector & gps hard wiring marine audio vehicle specific accessory mounts phone/ipod holders gps mounts trouble shooting and other mobile electronic services In homes & offices he does: Home theater installations for builders or contractors on their projects

 + 0 moreI found Karl's ad on another website because I couldn't find the service on Angie's List. Karl was quick to respond by email (or phone). He asked what service I needed and some specifics and offered 3 options with a range of costs. He answered in detail several additional questions and was very flexible in scheduling the installation. He does the installations at your home or office. Because I had two services done, he substantially discounted his usual fee. He was clean, professional, quick and thoughtful about how he did the work. He clearly has extensive experience in these installations and with the technology. It went so well I might have him do additional work for me.
Description of Work: I had an i-Pod interface installed in my daughter's VW Jetta and an aux-in port installed in my BMW 330ci.
