+ -1 moreThe design was beautiful but multiple subs did not do their job. Work was started October 28, 2016 and finished on February 14, 2017. This was a relatively small job that never should have taken 3.5 months. Millennium Carpentry was the original sub who laid bamboo click lock floor. The floor is still not correctly laid with gaps in the flooring. We were going to reuse the toilet that was in our bathroom and one of the subs threw it out. John purchased a new toilet but I had asked for a higher toilet for handicapped accessibility but he purchased a very low toilet instead. The tile had to be relaid because the original sub laid it wrong. I am still missing a switch plate and there are several spots on the wall where there is paint missing. This is the second experience with this company. My first was amazing but I would never use him again because of the frustration with this job.
Description of Work: I had a lower level remodel. New bedroom, bathroom and family room. New window and sliding doors.

Description of Work: John designed and remodeled my kitchen and family room. He was able to design and give me 20% more than any other contractor because he was willing to shop various vendors for what I wanted. He was the only contractor who listened to what I wanted and needed in a design. He was willing to work with me on every detail of the project. He sought out the best prices on all items for the kitchen and his subcontractors were very good. I was kept appraised of the expenses each step of the way. At one point my choice would have put me well over budget and he helped me to find another provider for the cabinets and keep me in budget and give me the quality I wanted. He was willing to let us to the demo and some of the other work we were able to do so that we could invest in the building materials. I wanted to blow up my old kitchen and now I feel like I could be in a high end magazine. I would recommend John to anyone. I had almost daily contact with John about questions and he would answer any phone calls, texts, or emails very quickly. This was my first experience with a major remodel and John made the process go very smoothly. I would recommend him to anyone.
