 + -1 moreHe said he would pull out existing plants, rototill, put down product to kill bishops weed in full shade bed. Then plant colorful perennials in 3 beds. I was home while both him and his adult son worked. I think he did not under stand me (language barrier?) but he kept saying yes. He said hostas that were green and white, I said no, I have a lot of those. He said also other colors, I said great. He pointed to another perennial that I have that he said is good for the shade and he said "lots of colors" so I said ok. He ended up planting the green & white hosta. When I asked him what colors the other perennial would be he said same as you have, just make one color. My main problem is he missed a lot of the bishops weed and I told him if he missed ANY it would ALL grow back and I did NOT want that to happen. The other two beds are each on the sides of my driveway and are part sun/ part shade. He put the same all shade plants in those beds. I had no problem with the $2,400 price only because I wanted all the bishops weed gone, but that was not the case.
Description of Work: Plant perennials, remove bishops weed, install bark in three beds. He was to eliminate bishops weed in one large shaddy bed and he only pulled some and then covered the rest with bark. After one week it began popping thru the bark. I texted him to ask if he intended to come back and remove the remainder of the bishops weed since I hired him to do a third bed and he said yes, but that was 3 weeks ago and I have not seen him since.

 + 0 moreOverall it went OK. I did have to make some reminder calls to get the estimate done. Once the date was set they did do the work in 1 day and came back to complete the mulch. The mulch was a little less quantity than ideal but for the price it was about right
