I have used ATR Plumbing on multiple occasions and have found them to be friendly, on time, performed excellent work. I wouldn’t use anyone else. I highly recommend them!

I have called ATR Plumbing and HVAC to maintain my mechanical and plumbing systems. They are outstanding in their: 1. Customer Service Theresa is responsive and goes above and beyond to get things scheduled quickly and with every consideration for the customer's schedule. 2. Technicians. Ryan has been to my home about five times and each time I am amazed at the considerate and expert way he performs all the work requested. I have never called back to have something redone, it's been done correctly and with great care the first time. Ryan has also been patient in answering my questions about future projects, possible issues, and explaining things in terms that I could understand. 3. Value. In every service call, I have been pleased with the estimated cost for the value of the work completed. This is a company that is honest and expert. They are simply the best.

I've owned several homes in the area and numerous rental properties, have always had a good experience with ATR. Dealing with contractors and tradesmen is never fun, but this company is easy to deal with, will generally book an appointment to fix your problem the next day (sometimes even same-day), and they know who you are when you phone. You are speaking to one of the company owners when you call the local #, and never have to deal with a non-English speaking person in a foreign country where most 800 # call go. They will remember you, and once you are in their system, you can even text them and they will call you back when they can. As a landlord who also works a full-time job, this is golden, as I do not have time to sit on hold for 30-minutes waiting for my call to be connected. It's family-owned and their pride in their business is obvious. Prices are reasonable. Came across them years ago on the recommendation of a painting contractor, and they have been in my Rolodex ever since.

Service person showed up right on time. Work was done efficiently and so far, pleased with the work. Office staff was very responsive.

Pump was promptly replaced and Billy came back the following day and installed a new back-up. ATR is always professional, prompt, courteous and willing to help. Billy always explains what needs to be done and does excellent work. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!

They responded promptly and repaired the pipe, only inflicting minimal damage to the surrounding area. They came to repair a broken water pipe (on New Year's Day) at the height of the cold weather and we had never used them before. They could have taken advantage of the situation and charged us much more, but they did not. I am assuming they were not looking to make a quick buck, but to establish a long relationship and potential referrals to our circle of influence. I would not hesitate to use ATR Plumbing & HVAC again and would recommend them to others

Arrived on time, professional, a delight to work with Theresa lining it up. Very honest, he only had to tighten the water intake nut to stop the leak. He could have said it was the wax ring.

Excellent. All work completed quickly with no issues. New tank and piping installed and problem resolved.

ATR came out and looked at central air, determined it was the capacitator and fixed same day. A/C works great now.

Plumber came out same day. Assessed job. Tried to fix but did not have right part. Came back asap and fix the problem. Faucet Has worked ever since.

As stared above, was having issues with my lower level bath ejector pump not going on. Theresa was the delightful person l talked to when I called. She was friendly and very easy to talk to. She made an appointment for Billy to come out right away to diagnose the problem. He arrived promptly and within 2 hrs. Had the issue resolved. He even gave me several repair/replacement options with approximate costs to help me get the most bang for my buck. He was extremely professional and very knowledgeable. I was very happy with my entire experience calling ATR. They also do Central Air systems (HVAC), which I need replaced. The estimate he gave me was hundreds of dollars less than the others I had quotes from. Needless to say, ATR is upgrading my whole house system soon. Finding good trades people can be difficult. Don't hesitate to call them. They are the best.

I could not remove the disposal myself as it was rusted. I emailed ATR on the weekend and Theresa got back to me immediately to let me know they would set up an appointment time.

Billy had to use a saw to get it off. He then replaced the drain pipes.

Billy and his assistant did a very good job, as usual. I have used ATR plumbing  before and am extremely satisfied with their work.

I strongly recommend ATR for any plumbing needs.

Theresa is FANTASTIC on the phone..so personable and helpful.  Billy got here this morning right when they said they would.  I explained the issues and he found the culprit which had to do with my water softener!
He also had to take out the shower valve in the guest bathroom and get it working so it would accommodate cold and hot water.
I felt completely comfortable with him and Luis.  They kept me apprised of everything and I have now found a new plumber for every single need that arises.   
They are FANTASTIC.   Call them, you will not be sorry!

I have used ATR Plumbing before and that is why I called them again. I discovered a leak and thought it was a valve. Billy came out and discovered it was just the water supply tube. He replaced the tube and also informed me the water supply tube I had on my toilet was not in line with Illinois code. So as a result I am going to check all my other water supply tubes and replace if necessary which could prevent any major leaks or bursts. I highly recommend ATR for any plumbing needs.

It went pretty good. I liked it! The guys were friendly, nice, and professional. They were honest, too. They didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need. The job itself went pretty well, also.

Theresa was extremely prompt and courteous over the phone.  Phone calls were returned and questions answered in a prompt manner.  They were a little late getting to the appt to give an estimate, but not excessively late.  Pricing seemed a bit high at first, but after seeing the amount and quality of the work they performed, it seems reasonable.  Billy was right on time for the service call and did  a great job explaining what was to be done.  The work was performed in the timeframe estimated and the quality is excellent.  They left no mess behind.

I bought a new dishwasher but couldn't install it because our water valve under the kitchen sink was frozen. So we hired ATR to install a new valve and then complete some other small plumbing issues we had around the house.
Communication and scheduling with Theresa was easy. She worked to understand what projects we needed done, so when the plumber came to the house, we had all of the parts necessary to complete the repairs. The plumber who did the repairs was very nice and professional. He did a great job with the installations/repairs and cleaning up the old parts. We are very happy with the service we received from ATR and will be using them again in the future. 

We hired ATR plumbing for our water heater replacement.  We were very pleased with the professionalism of Matthew and John. They did a very neat job and according to the code. Taressa was very nice to talk. She was very courteous and tried to help. We will definitely hire ATR again for our plumping needs. 

Actually second time using this provider and review long overdue. Billy and Teresa the owners are excellent in dealing with and very fair pricing and quality workmanship. Called to set up and Teresa set the appointment. Billy came out to give estimate and on time and we reviewed work that needed to be completed and if he had an idea that was different from mine or a suggestions he made them, which is appreciated since he does the plumbing and hvac work and has seen and completed a lot of jobs. He made the suggestion of moving the drain in our roughed in basement plumbing to install a shower stall instead of a tub and we did prefer a shower stall. He gave the estimate and him and his crew were on time and very friendly and personable/courteous. They installed a toilet, shower stall and vanity and their work was outstanding. Cleaned up after themselves too. Another thing is they are a locally owned family business and I do try to patronize these types of business' as my dad had his own business, which provided for our family so know the benefits of supporting a quality family business like ATR. I would highly recommend them to any family or friends of mine without hesitation and they are a pleasure to deal with!

I contacted ATR Plumbing on a Wednesday afternoon and received a call back from Theresa in less than 15 mins. I explained that my bathtub faucet was broken, we had bought a new kit but what we bought didn't seem to fit and decided we needed a professional. Theresa was extremely knowledgeable in gathering all the necessary details. She explained that we needed to buy the same brand as the old fixtures or they wouldn't fit the existing valves. Theresa explained how to determine what I had and told me exactly what to ask for at the home improvement store.
Theresa was able to schedule my appointment for the next day since the technician would be in my area. She was also aware of the fact that this is our only shower and didn't want us to have to wait until the following week. She asked me to call her back once I had the right equipment and she would give me scheduled time, which is what we did. I was impressed that it was evening by the time I had the equipment, but that was no problem and Theresa scheduled the technician for the next morning.
The next day there was a small mix-up with the schedule time the technician was supposed to arrive. Both Theresa and the technician apologized profusely and it all worked out to be a better time for me anyway.
The technician was very personable and courteous. Due to the age of the existing fixtures, he was concerned what I had bought may not work. However, he got right to it and determined he just needed to make a few minor modifications to fit the fixtures on the existing valves. He made sure everything was working properly and was installed to my satisfaction before he left. He throughly cleaned-up the area before leaving.
