Asphalt Restoration

At the estimate appointment, Dan quickly told us his infrared process would not be appropriate or affordable for our driveway.
He offered a very helpful 'education' about asphalt repair and referred us to another company, also on Angie's List, to contact for the job of rebuilding the driveway. We really appreciated his honesty and time he spent above and beyond; all after determining we would not be his customer.

They were honest about our project and that there were too many cracks in our driveway to apply their process.  They were very helpful in suggestions.  They stated instead of restoration that maybe a full replacement might be more helpful.

Dan checked the driveway, explained the problem and gave a clear proposal.  Work done in a timely and neat manner.  He knows what he's doing.

After I called Dan came out and checked out our driveway. Within three days we had a written estimate for the work. I called the office to set up a time for the work to be done. Dan then gave me a call and estimated the work would be done the week of June 20th. On June 17th Dan again called and confirned they would be out on the afternoon of the 20th. The weather did not cooperate for the work to be accomplished on the 20th but Dan called early in the day and explained and said they would be out the next day. By the time arrived home from work on the 21st our driveway was repaired. Fantastic work!

Called for estimate. Was informed that they have $600 minimum charge. Came out the next day and confirmed the charge and marked the driveway. Next day crew came and worked diligently and professionally to complete job in a couple of hours.

They gave me an estimate right away and told me exactly what to expect. They came out when they said they would come and charged me exactly what they said they would. The quality of their work was good and I was satisfied with their service.

Got a quote in the mail within 3 days of calling. They arrived on both the day and time they said they would. No idea how long it took, had to leave for work. Came back and found the work flawless. No mess on the lawn. Edge of new asphalt where meets the lawn is a 45 degree slope to a well defined line. Looks very good. The new asphalt meets up with the old asphalt, a sidewalk on the side, and the garage concrete apron. At all 3 locations the junction is smooth and flat with no gaps, no raised seams - it looks perfect. The work remains this way 1 week later. Note: Can't drive on for 1 day, can't park on for 2 days.

Dan came within a week to see the damage so that he could work up a proposal. He described in detail how the repair would be accomplished and said that widening the hole indicated more extensive damage, the minimum price would be likely to cover the additional work. Dan also said that since the weather was still cold, he would not schedule the work to be done before mid-April. Dan's two man crew came to repair the driveway on the date advised after two unavoidable rain-outs. The widened the hole and tamped down the stone base. They filled the hole with new asphalt and leveled the patch. Since I was minimum price they asked if I wanted them to extend their work to the dimensions of their the machine which heated the asphalt for removal. I asked them to do that since I wanted to make sure that the small hole was not indicative of more widespread damage to the stone base. The crew then did the work on the larger area, found no additional damage, and completely restored the driveway. The work was done carefully. When finished the driveway looked as good as new, and the crew did a full clean-up before departing. While I would certainly like to avoid any further damage to the driveway, I would use this company's services again without hesitation.

From quote to finished product, everything was great. The crew that did the work was very careful not to get any of the blacktop on the adjacent bricks. At our old house, this company also had done "seamless" repair of several troubled spots (uneven surface/ruts). Very pleased. Will use again.
