Huntley Electric

Dave came out within an hour and assessed the electrical work. I needed all outlets to be GFI and the remainder needed to be replaced and wires fixed. Dave was awesome, he showed me all the wires that were separated and how bad the one was that was sparking and smoking! He fixed 6 outlets and even went out and got the color needed (he only had white). I highly recommend Dave and I will be calling him in the near future.

Dave is the most responsive home service provider we have used. He has done excellent work and has recommended other very good professionals.

It was good. They were courteous, on time and professional. They were very understanding of how rapid I wanted it done so they were able to squeeze me in there. They got it done fast.

Our bathroom light switch broke and had been meaning to fix it but always put it aside. Until our lights were flickering too much that I thought it was due to the bathroom light switch. I called on Huntley Electric and once again was able same day service. David, the owner of Huntley Electric, came and fixed the switch. He also noticed that I was cleaning the bathroom air fan and he assisted in helping me with the cleaning at no extra cost. When he was done, I told him about the flickering lights and he only had about 45 min to look into it as his wife was expecting him for dinner. Long story short, he looking into several areas of the house to pinpoint issues...he found an ill connected switch that gave light to the entry hall way, yet, the flickering lights continued and after 2hrs and well past his 45 min allotment, he discovered the issue. He rewired electrical cables in our second fuse box and that immediately solved the flickering light issue. David went above and beyond the call of duty. He noticed that the flickering light issue was really more than a nuisance but a potential fire hazard. All that investigation, opening up light boxes and going up and down the stairs fixing an electrical issue that he found in the midst of his investigation and he only charged me $200. Huntley Electric does honest to goodness work. I'm referring him to my family and friends. His local and a family man. With two jobs already performed to satisfaction, this guy is a keeper!

When I called, they were available to come do the service within half an hour. We had a broken switch light in the bathroom. He came and fixed it and when he noticed I was cleaning my air fan, he offered to clean it for me. When he finished we noticed that there were flickering lights. It was a 2 hour project trying to find out what was causing this. I knew he wanted to be home within 45 minutes because it was dinner time, but he went above and beyond by staying for two hours, finding all the problems with our wiring, and fixing the issues.

We had a partial power outage occur on Christmas night resulting in our furnace going out as well. In trying to find someone the next morning, which was Saturday, I got a lot of answering machines and one company told me to call the power company. Dave answered right away and said he could be out in an hour or two. He then called back back to say he would arrive sooner as he had rearranged his schedule to come to us first since we had no heat. Dave was pleasant and professional when he arrived, even greeting our hyper dog. He already had an idea of the problem from our conversation and once he quickly confirmed it explained the problem to us. He had the parts in his truck and was able to make the repair and restore our power in 20 minutes or so. The problem we had is part of a larger issue with an old fuse box, so while he was able to safely repair for us today we already have an appointment to have the fuse box upgraded by him. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Dave and Huntley Electric. Thank you for your prompt and professional service on a holiday weekend!

I called two other electricians on Angie's List before Huntley Electrical, this business was the only one in which the phone call was answered and I was able to secure service quickly, with David coming out the same day.  I was very happy to have such a quick response and felt comfortable with his professionalism and efficiency in solving the problem.  I will be having him return to fix the problems as he recommended.

I contacted Huntley Electric due to references received from my neighbors.  The service provided was exceptional.  I called in the morning and David was at my house approximately 45 minutes later.  He completed the project quickly and showed me that the outlet was now function correctly.  I could not have asked for better service.
