I called and described what my 18 ye. old system was doing.  Ryan explained what my options - my decision was to replace it. He and Doug came out the next day, they explained the new system, answered all of my questions and made it very easy.  I would definitely use them again.  They seem to be honest and fair in pricing and very responsive to questions.

The new softner was put in w/digital controls and battery back up. They will deliver salt and check the softner while here.

He was so helpful.  Ryan was here within the hour after calling. After Ryan came for the inspection, we made the appointment. The techs were here right on time. He moved the grind tank so it was easily accessible compared to where it was and turned the tank so I could actually see it. They worked diligently until the job was done and gave me a very reasonable price. They also anchored where the drain connects to the sink so it stays in one place. The water softener even has a battery back up, which I am so grateful for because I won't have to worry about resetting again. They filled the softener with salt, which was included in the price. When I need more salt, I can just call them, and they will even check the softener when they deliver it.

Doug was very professional, knowledgeable, especially re; removing sulphur from my well water. Gave me an explanation, estimate, did the job. No mess, and guess what? No more rotten egg smell at a reasonable price. I would highly recommend him.

Overall, I got great service and professionalism from Ryan.  Ryan took the time to answer all of my questions regarding the equipment/product that he serviced and installed.

We made an appointment about a week later to come out and install the new system. The whole process was completed in about 2 hours. 


New connections were installed and the self tapping connections were sealed off. I was walked through the installation and told what to look for if there were problems. I was instructed to call if there were any leaks and not to use metal tools to tighten any of the plastic connectors. Filters can be bought online but he said just to call in a year and they will deliver the filters. They will also install the filters for a small additional fee - not necessary but a nice service to offer.



There is a plastic, cheap tap that comes with the system. He gave it to me and the installed a very nice, chrome tap instead. Very friendly and was able to answer all my questions. Ill be using them again.

They provide very good service.  They are honest.  I bought my water softener from them.  They are dependable.  They call and they come.  They are easy to work with.  They are very nice people.  For some reason something happened to my water softener like a month later, I called them up and they were able to tell me over the phone which buttons to be pressed to get this running again.  I would use their service in the future.

After 9 years the Culligan water softener that was originally installed in my home stopped worked (I'm on a well with a lot of iron in my water)  I called Culligan and the price to repair or replace the unit was astronomical.  So I called Fox Valley Water Treatment and Ryan came out the next day to look at my unit and do a water test.  After testing my water he recommended I replace the broken softener with a new one and also install and Iron Fox iron filter.  He gave me a quote on the spot and scheduled the job for the following week.  The day of the service Ryan showed up with another technician and they had my old unit out and the new softener and filter installed in under 3 hours.  They work GREAT!  My wife is extremely happy with the quality of the water now that the iron/rust and smell (sulphur) is gone.  Ryan is a great guy and I HIGHLY recommend Fox Valley Water Treatment!  They're a fraction of the cost of Culligan or other big names and you get just as good of a product, along with my friendly and knowledgeable service.

We had recently replaced our well pump and our water softener was not working correctly and we weren't getting any pressure. John stayed to diagnose the problem (clay in the water softener) and cleaned the water softener and got it working again - (without charging us for his time!!) He came back to reinstall the Iron Fox. Our water is no longer smelly an the rust has been cut significantly!!

THIS COMPANY IS VERY HONEST, AND PERSONABLE. THE OWNER LET ME COME OUT TO HIS PLANT, AND HE LET ME WATCH WHAT KIND OF BUSINESS THEY HAVE. HE GAVE ME PERSONAL ATTENTION AND SHOWED ME HOW THEY MANUFACTURE THE WATER SOFTENERS. WHEN HE CAME OUT TO GIVE ME A PRICE QUOTE HE WAS VERY PERSONABLE, AND HE ANSWERED ALL OF MY QUESTIONS. I FELT VERY COMFORTABLE DEALING WITH THIS COMPANY. IF I COULD GIVE THEM ALL A+, I WOULD.

They did an excellent job, got everything done quickly, and cleaned up well. They didn't give me a sales pitch like other estimates I had. They were very personable and I'd recommend them to everyone!
