"We are sorry to hear about your disappointment in our services. One of the drawbacks of not having a team of people working for us is that we sometimes have to cancel appointments when we have emergencies or a previous job takes longer then we expected. We also have had to cancel outdoor jobs when the weather does not allow us to work outside. Our records show that we did cancel an appointment with you because we had an emergency. Our records do not indicate that we had multiple cancellations with you, but if we did, we are sorry for the inconvenience. We do our best to keep our appointments and most of our customers understand that sometimes we have to cancel due to an emergency or a previous job running longer because they know we will give them the same attention. In regards to billing you for something we did not do, our records show that we billed you for the mailbox repair only. Erwin (not Ed) suggested you install a motion detection light as an alternative to installing a flood light. Our records also show that Erwin did quote the installation of the flood light and that on June 15, 2012, you left a message indicating that you would not be doing the flood light. You also asked us to “just settle up” for the work he completed and the mailbox repair is all we billed you for. Respectfully, Erwin & Karen"
