They respond to messages immediately and they also come out as soon as possible, usually within the same day. They will not try to sell you things you don't need.

I had two 25 year old Craftsman 1/2hp chain drives openers that needed to be replaced, and a 3rd one that was sporadically having issues. All were failing and getting touchy with remote and outdoor panel compatibility. Of course, they were all incredible noisy, and we have a room above the garage where it sounded/felt like an earthquake every time a door was opened. From previous homes, we wanted to use Liftmaster openers again. Home Adviser recommendations never even called! I went to Liftmaster's website and found 3 ‘local’ dealers that all had accolades and excellent reviews. I had each quote me, and ASAP was quick to close the loop, the most knowledgeable, and competitive on pricing. Deidra was the initial contact person, and she was so helpful. Because noise was an issue for me, she helped me make a decision to step up to a Liftmaster 8550W unit (3/4 hp belt-drive, battery back-up, MyQ application for online control and monitoring). She even made me aware of an online rebate offer through Liftmaster that scored me some other MyQ home automation for free. We scheduled my installation for a few days later, and the technician, Jim, was just incredibly knowledgeable and complete with all aspects of the installation. He is a detail guy so he took my hodge-podge and left me with a super neat and clean looking install. All new remote and sensor wiring, new metal bracing as needed, and the high quality light bulbs that handle vibration better than the standards. He also showed me how to program my exterior keypad before he inspected the doors, tightened up some screws and gave everything a proper lubrication. He then took away the old openers and left a spotless work site. The end result was incredibly quiet doors and openers with perfectly functioning remotes, keypads, and apps. I could not be more pleased.

I just recently moved into my house and wanted to change the door code from that of the previous owners. I tried numerous times, but could not get it to work. I called ASAP and spoke to Tony who was very patient and took the time to guide me through the process. I eventually got it to work! He could have easily hit me up for a service call ($89), but chose to save me the money and help me out over the phone. I couldn't be happier! ASAP now has one more devoted customer and I plan to recommend them as well! Thanks ASAP!

We called ASAP Garage Door in Huntley and they scheduled a service call the next day. The technician arrived on time and did all of the work quickly and efficently. They even replaced the rusty tracks with new ones. They secured a couple of the door panels too! The work they did was actually more than we expected and better than we expected. We use ASAP at our business too and they always do a great job. I would highly recommend.

I had a very pleasant overall experience from the office staff to the installer. They answered all my questions and were straight forward with the item I needed and the price. The installer was great too. He was on time, very professional and knowledgeable. I will use them again and will recommend them to my family and friends.

BY FAR the best garage door opener installer and service.  There are many garage door service companies and I would have to say this being my 9th house ASAP is by far the best.  They gave an accurate quote OVER the Phone, Came ON TIME, Service technician was HIGHLY skilled, and all that was asked of them was done. The service tech cleaned up EVERYTHING, got all remotes working, got car/truck home links working and this door opener and garage tuneup is so good you can not hear anything.  Unbelievable!!!!!   EXCEEDED EXPECTATIONS IN EVERY WAY!

Called around 7:20 AM because garage door would not open more than 2 feet.  Talked to their service dept and got an appointment same day within a 2 hour range.  They were able to call 1/2 hour before arrival so that I could go to work that morning.  Call came with the 2 hour  range and Tom (repairman) arrived right on time and fixed the door.  Both the gentleman I talked to in service and Tom were very nice and helpful.  Overall, I was treated like a customer who they wanted to keep.  I was very pleased with their service and professionalism from the moment the phone was answered through to when the job was completed.

My garage door was closing in on itself. There were two panels. So I called them and they showed up. He was a kid and he goes oh, you need a new garage door. And I go: "A new garage door, how much is that?" He said $942 and I said are you kidding, a $1000? And he goes: "No, I said $942." I said: "In my world that's a $1000."  Then he said: "Well, let me see how much would it cost for you to replace these panels." And I asked how if he just fixed it and fake it for the next three years, because I don't have a $1000. Then he goes out to the car and he comes back and then he goes: "Oh, I can put some strips here. It will be a $153." I wasn't a happy camper about the sell for the new door when he could have easily just fixed it and been done with it. I didn't ask for a new garage door. I wanted him to fix what I have. That is what I didn't appreciate about them, that he just wasn't forthright into saying you don't need a new garage door, let me just put strips on here and you can pop it out until it really breaks. He was not completely honest. He obviously could fix my door. When I said you just need to fix this, and if you can't, I'm going to call someone else, then he said let me put some strips on. And the garage door works fabulous. If I'm calling you for a new door, sure, give me an estimate on a new door. But don't try to sell me a new door when I just want it fixed. He knew he could have just fixed my door instead of trying to sell me a door. I was happy that he fixed it and it cost a $153. I wish he would have just said that in the beginning, instead of me saying are you kidding, I don't have that amount of money. I will never use this company again.
Response from ASAP Garage Door Repair Inc
"Upon inspecting the damaged garage door it was advised that the proper way to fix the door was to either replace the two sections or replace the entire door. The homeowner was provided with two quotes, one to replace the sections at a cost of $725.00 and the other quote was to replace the entire door at a cost of $945.00. The technician also informed the homeowner that the photo eye sensors were not in the proper location to be up to safety code. The homeowner did not wish for the technician to correct this. While yes, he was able to “fix” the problem this is just a temporary repair as the sections are cracked all the way through and need to be replaced. At A.S.A.P. Garage Door Repair, Inc. we would NEVER sell you something you didn’t need. You called a professional experienced company that gave you a professional answer in that the door or at least the sections needed to be replaced. In regards to the comment that the technician was a kid that is just not the case. Junior is third generation garage door technician and is accredited through the Institute of Door Dealer Education and Accreditation. This is the highest certification in the door industry. Junior has been employed at A.S.A.P. Garage Door Repair, Inc. for over 10 years. The homeowner also states that the technician went to the car and then came back with an additional solution. What actually happened is that the technician went to his truck and called the office asking if it would be ok to repair the door with struts as we do not usually do temporary repairs we don’t feel with last. It was approved and the struts were installed. We disagree with this homeowners account of the appointment as well as the grades she provided to Angie’s List."

A recent previous broken garage door spring repair was originated from an Angies List search.
An amazingly quick and thorough job with very positive results led to a very favorable rating on Angies List.
Based on this experience, I requested an estimate on a broken garage door repair/replacement on a different townhome property.
The estimator was able to outline different options and ultimately, a panel replacement was contracted.
A quick order and installation based on my availability and very friendly office assistance found the installer doing an incredible job.  A finished job with a door tune up and maintenance walkthrough found a perfect exterior door match to comply with the Townhome's Association requirement.
ASAP Garage Door Repair is an amazing find with hard working and professional staff.
I would highly recommend them for any garage door maintenance, repair or replacement needs.
Well done!
