I picked up a garage door opener at Menard's and had them install it. It's great watching someone work who doesn't have to and quot;redoand quot; steps.

We had a very old double garage door (30 + years old) and a new opener (15+ years old) as well as a rather large side window replaced in the garage.

We chose a Raynor garage door because of the insulation qualities and warranties. We also purchased the LiftMast garage door opener, belt drive. Both were installed without any instances and makes a world of difference in the appearance of our home. Jarrod was there to help walk us through all of the various technical questions and more than happy to share the color swatches he had available so we could select just the right color for our new door. We are very pleased with their service and workmanship and will indeed contact them for future service.

Sparks flew out of our door opener at 4:30 on a Friday afternoon. I called Childers as their sticker with phone number was on the opener. They had me try a few standard fixes such as unplugging the unit to reset and checking the house circuit breaker but no luck. As I have lived in the house just over 1 yr. they looked up the unit information from my address and said the age of the unit meant they could still get parts. They asked if it was vital that the unit get fixed asap and I said no we could lift the door manually until Monday. We set up a Monday morning appointment, they called ahead on Monday as they had promised and arrived on time and corrected the problem in less than 1 hour. A great overall experience especially considering the cost was less than I had expected.

I wasn't home (someone else was there waiting), so this is just going off of what I heard, but the repair person was a bit late to my job. However, they completed the repair quickly and everything has been working great so far. Would use again.

Service man was on time for his appointment, very friendly and explained exactly what was wrong with the door. He fixed the problem within 30-40 minutes. I have not had a problem with the door since. I would recommend them and hire them again.

The Childer's employee showed up when he said he would be there. Diagnosed the problem, told me what needed to be done and how much it would cost and he could be back the next day install the new spring. First we had to remove some shelving before he could replace the spring. He arrived the next morning and replaced the spring. Finished in about 45 minutes.

Had a great experience -- office personnel were pleasant and helpful. Installer was knowledgable, did a great job, and explained the features well. I LOVE my new Liftmaster 8550 opener -- has great features and is super quiet!

It went well. They showed up when they said they would. It was priced competitively with extras thrown in. The installer wasn't particularly friendly, but he took care of it, got it done and got out. I had load bearing beams that did not allow a traditional opener and had called a couple other companies out that recommended moving the beams and retrofitting track which would have cost more and not been as effective as well as causing structural damage. They knew what to do.

My Craftsman garage door opener would not fully open or close the door. Sears told me that a technician would be sent next Thursday, which I said was unacceptable. Childers came out three hours after my call, and performed excellently.

They were fine and they did everything exactly the way they should. They charged me about $183 for their service. They came on time and they did what they said they would. They were reasonable for what they did. I would definitely use their services in the future too.

The quality of wook was good. There was some damage to plaster on the inside of the door frame; however, we were told in advance that this would occur, so no foul. We are very happy with the end result, but it took longer than expected. Once the major work was done, which was completed in a timely manner, a few small details had to be completed, including finish trim on the inside and outside of the door. It required several calls to get the worker back out to complete this. Again, the work was good, but we were dissappointed in the delays. One issue remains. The lock on the storm door does not work properly and needs to be replaced, though this is a minor issue to us. We're still waiting on this, so when I received the final bill, I deducted $200 and told them I would hold this final payment until our last issue has been resolved. That was 3 weeks ago and nothing yet.

Called and they came out very quickly. Diagnosed the problem. Replaced spring. Did some basic maintenance on the door and garage opened for no extra cost.

It was a great experience. I called the office and the office person was polite, worked in my time that I was availabe to be at home. The workers showed up on time, I believe they called first to make sure that I was home. After the work was completed they cleaned up, had me take a look at the work to see if I was satisfied and I was. Great Job!!!!!!
