Suburban Electric

They are exceptional, they are professional very timely and frequently contact me to schedule some service.

It was fine. It was quick and easy. They were courteous and their pricing was not very expensive. We trust them.

I contacted Suburban and they came out when expected. The gentleman was highly knowledgeable and very clear about the proceess. He explained the cost upfront and details of repair. Done rather quickly and stood by his work and family business. The conversation made the nite of the bill less prickly.

They've been doing my heating and air conditioning for over 30 years. They come out twice a year. They do the fall cleaning and in the spring or early summer they do the air conditioning cleaning. I remember about 3 years ago we called them on Christmas Eve late because we didn't have any heat. The owner came right out and something had broken in a part that couldn't have been pre-warned and he fixed it that night. They're very good.

They came in and quickly diagnosed and then fixed the problem the problem.

Michael, the very professional service technician, once again solved my washing machine problem.  A load became unbalanced and threw the washtub entirely off the internal frame.  Michael was able to restore the tub, replace the framework and make it operable once again.  I am apparently rather h****** washing machines, but Michael has always been able to repair my machines.  He also is wonderful about giving me suggestions about keeping the washing machine functioning properly. 
Thank goodness for Suburban Electric and Pat, Michael and Patty.

I've known them and used them for over 30 years. I would not get my electric, air conditioner or anything done by anybody else. I wouldn't get a second quote. They're extremely reliable and very professional, to the point where he could sell me stuff but he would very honestly say "you know what, this is the trade off, I don't know what you're gonna get on your return but it's up to you". They're very honest.

After calling several other appliance repair companies, I finally determined that Suburban Electric was the ONLY one that included the
charge to come out and diagnose the problem as a credit in the overall bill if I decided to go ahead with the repair.  Since this was a
relatively inexpensive dishwasher I knew I would not repair it if it was going to cost a lot.  The repair was easily scheduled at my convenience.  The technician (owner, I think) immediately knew what the problem was -- the motor had seized due to our not having run it while away for an extended trip.  He quickly solved the problem and told us what to watch for if permanent damage had been done with issues arising later.  (The dishwasher has run well for a month now.)  He was so thorough in his explanation that I thought we might be given a quiz after.  Friendly and clearly loves his work (how refreshing).  One of the best repair experiences I've ever had. 

First trip was to diagnose the problem and order parts. Second trip was to install the parts and make some repairs to some of the wiring. A few days later, the burners would not ignite and called them to come out again. On the third trip, more wiring repairs were made and the igniters was replaced again as it had shorted out, presumably from the faulty wiring. Probably should have repaired all the wiring when making the initial repairs. After a couple of weeks, all is working well.

They were great to work with...We were expecting it to be a timer or heating element.  After checking over both of those, it turned out to be a blown safety fuse.   The fuse was replaced, all the vents inside and out were cleaned out.  It is running good as new.   They were great and did a great job.  We were very pleased, and would recommend them and use them again.

A few years ago, you may recall that the Bears played in the Superbowl and on that Sunday here in Chicagoland, the temperature hovered below zero before windchill! I, of course, awoke on that exciting day to no heat and fortunately found Suburban Electric (on my parent's suggestion). Michael (the owner) was the ONLY area service provider of 4 who was willing to come to my rescue on that day. He returned my call within the hour and arrived within 2. Not only did he successfully revive the 30 year-old furnace in this 80 year old house, he provided an extremely patient and fully understandable explanation of everything wrong along with his recommendations for next steps. Suffice it to say that Michael is one those guys who so very clearly expert, enjoys his work and providing excellent service. There was no question that I would select Suburban Electric to replace the furnace. And later that same summer, Suburban Electric also replaced the A/C unit. Both Trane. In the years since, scheduling the routine preventative maintenance visits with Patty is also so quick, easy and convenient and it's never just some random "furnace guy" who comes out to provide these services, it's always George or Michael. I love that consistency: they know my furnace/AC, they know my home, they know me and I know them. Replacing our water heater is next! I am so happen to have found Suburban Electric!

They were fine. They fixed the ice maker in my sub zero. Everything is working fine now.

Somewhat difficult to schedule an appointment but the technician was pleasant, professional, and punctual. Outcome was excellent and price not too bad.

We have always had good luck with them. Unless you need an outrageous repair, they won?t tell you you need a new unit, they are completely honest. They charge a flat, minimum fee for cleaning your unit. It?s reasonable, just like everyone elses?. They are reliable and pleasant, I?ve never had a problem with them and they show up on time.
