Vincent “Bud” Herman, owner of Herman & McCarrin Construction, is on site working alongside his sons (Jake & Luke), crew, and subcontractors to complete your home on time, on budget, and up to your standards. All work is guaranteed for 2 years after the project is completed. Herman & McCarrin Construction has been in business for over 35 years. As a family owned construction company with 10 employees we can tackle projects big and small. We specialize in residential room additions and remodeling. If hired as a general contractor we can line up licensed subcontractors for plumbing, electrical, and HVAC work if needed. We offer free estimates for Angie's List customers. Build new. Or renovate. The first project was about 13 years ago and the last 2 years ago.
I have had excellent experience with Herman & McCarrin Construction and would highly recommend them.
I don't remember specifics but item #3 was under $2,000 and the others were $10's of thousands.
They would be the first company that I would call for any construction project.

Bud and his team did a beautiful, quality job! Our home was built in 1916. The kitchen had been updated but was tiny, with no eat-in area and little storage.
Bud and his guys re-modeled the existing space:
- converted our old kitchen into a butler pantry/office area, enhancing and matching our existing cabinetry;
- re-did our powder room; and
- dug out our old basement floor, replacing pipes and adding drain-tile.
And they built on new space for us:
- added an eat-in kitchen;
- added a mudroom; and
- a new basement below the new kitchen, with drain-tile and sump pump.
Their bid was competitive, and they were true to their bid. No surprises. Started exactly the date that they promised and completed the job on schedule AND on budget. They were dependable, on time and professional. Bud or Jake were always reachable and always had answers and ideas. Bill, the finish/trim carpenter, was also very knowledgeable and helpful.
We have recommended them to others and would use them again.
