B & B HEATING & COOLING

He looked at my a/c unit for about a minute and then went out in the yard and looked at the outside units. He was there about 5 minutes and then told me i needed some coolant in the unit but otherwise the units were fine. My disappointment comes from other inspections that I have had. They took at least 1/2 hour. It included some work inside at the a/c. I have no idea what the 15 points of inspection were for my unit.

I have a service contract with them.  Have had it for about 7 years.  Got it when they installed a new furnace.  I did not give them all excellent because I have never had anything repaired.   I have no experience with their emergency service or repair costs.  Part of the service agreement  says that as an agreement holder any emergency would be taken care of as soon as possible.  

We had the furnace installed about 2 months ago. We waited on the installation of the outside air conditioning unit as we wanted the ground to thaw to move our plants for the area reserved for unit.The outside air conditioning unit was installed today, 05/06/13. We were pleased with the installation of the furnace and air conditioning unit. The installers were friendly, courteous and professional. We received excellent value.

We would have liked to have the furnace fixed on Monday during the day.  They had business in Ottawa, Illinois for the day and we needed to wait.  I did go to work in the local area and asked for a phone call when the workers were enroute.   I was originally told it would be in the afternoon.  I recontacted the company at 2 p.m.  The owner arrived at my home after I was done with work for the day. 
We thought it was the blower motor,  however, the repair company owner stated it was another part.  Part replaced, check written for $125 with the Angie's List discount.  The following morning awoke to no heat.  Immediately contacted B&B.  They were scheduled for work at another location.  Suggested that they would be back on Tuesday afternoon.  Shortly thereafter received a phone call that they would be on their way.  The blower motor and blower wheel were replaced on Tuesday and there was another check written for $375.  They did make a deduction for the part on Monday.
We were thankful for the repair. 

Would call them again, if needed.

They are fantastic. It is a family run operation. The wife is an engineer and she does the estimates and quoting. The father and son do the installations. They are very professional. Their prices are competitive.

They are very professional and timely. We met with them last week and they are installing the furnace today.
