Prompt and professional.

Went great. They showed up on time and did what they were supposed to do. Last year I used Russos and they charged $500. This year they wanted $600. Aquapools did it for $205 and I feel they did just as good a job. That is a lot less money for the same service. It was cheaper to do it in April than May or June and that's why we opened so early.

They did a wonderful job and I am happy with the service.

I also wanted to call back and discuss the matter with the owner instead of the and quot;office managerand quot; and the phone number they gave me did not work Very unprofessional. Guess they don't need or want any new business.

First time I ever used Aqua Pools. I was having trouble with my Hayward Pool Heater and had no idea who to use. Located them on Angie's list and gave them a shot. No complaints at all about the work done or the service technician that came out. Thought it was a little expensive though.

They were very knowledgeable. It was great.

They sold us above ground pump when we needed one for much larger inground pool. They had teenagers working who were not knowledgeable and then they didn't want to take it back and I had to go to BBB and they finally refunded the money. I felt they had bad business practices.

The experience was very good. Everything that was promised was done. We got one other price and Aqua Pools was about $6,000 more but I liked the fact that I could put in a salt system with this one so I paid more knowing that I would get something different.

We placed the order in April, and the dig didn't start until mid June. We were delayed by permits, and while weather was great (very dry) Aqua got a much later start on this than we expected. Originally, the expectation was to be done by late June, early July. The project was completed by July20th, with a lot of prompting. They were also delayed by the extreme heat (100F plus temps) which I can understand, and didn't have a problem with. Jim is a very proactive communicator, and we appreciated that. His crews are seasoned, and know what they are doing. The concrete deck was done by one of his contractors, and they did a great job. The city we are in has a rather rigorous inspection process, so we were frequently delayed by this, however Jim handled it well.
I'd recommend Aqua to anyone looking to build a pool.
The only reason I didn't give them an A, was I think they could have done a better job managing the process, and getting their architect to be more responsive, and scheduling crews a little more expeditiously. They completed this about 3 weeks later than we had hoped, and was originally communicated. But other than that, the most important part is the overall build quality, and I think Aqua has built us a quality pool. Their follow on services for pool closing, and their shop in Homer Glen seems to have anything you'd ever need for pool supplies, water chemistry, etc.
Jim will give you all the options and choices you would ever want for a pool. And any design, or shape, whether its inground fiberglass, or vinyl liner etc.
We very much enjoyed our pool for what was left of the season, and are already looking forward to next summer, and many more to come.
P.S. Also if you need landscaping done, Jim recommends a contractor by the name of Jimenez and Sons. They are fantastic, and I would certainly highly recommend them for quality of service provider, timeliness, and reasonable pricing.

I chose Aqua Pools for their good reviews and a friend's recommendation. I'm purchasing a home with an in-ground pool and have no idea how to care for a pool. The pool has been closed for a year, smells like a swamp and is a luxury mosquito condo. The woman on the phone explained that it would cost over $300 to open the pool to clean it, then another $300+ dollars to close the pool for the season. She recommended waiting until spring to open it and clean it and in the meantime using liquid chlorine to get the smell out and deter the mosquitoes. Thank you kind woman for saving me over $300 and the embarrassment of having a stinky pool. You have just won yourself a loyal customer. I will call back in the spring to have my pool serviced.

They were very helpful and very nice. They got me to the right person. I would never have found him without them. I would use them if I had an in ground pool.

They have tagged me with a once a week person who comes out to check the pool.  I am a contractor and I feel there is a better way to communicate when you are spending substantial amount of money.  There is no way I would not allow my office to not return a call because it is raining outside.  They think their customers are migratory. My pool took probably an excess of six weeks to complete. It was double than the normal of 15 days weather permitting.  They might have been under staffed but all in all they rectified the problem by giving me a full maintenance person for the entire year who would come in once a week. I love the guy who comes to service the pool.  I would recommend them for pool service.  I have no dislikes about the guy who cleans the pool. He explains everything to me and I or my kids are not uncomfortable with him being here.  He is very personable and he did a great job.  We had a little problem with our pool. We had a salt water pool with a Hayward system and the rut came out and it started beeping. The guy who cleaned the pool went in and was gracious enough to call the people and inform them that there was a problem with it. He heard it beeping and it wouldn't stop. He actually had to press some button and he brought it to our attention. It was not like he cleaned the pool and didn't bother. He had a shock in the pool and there is something wrong with the system again. It is not that it is not beeping but it is not registering and it is shutting off on its own. He brought it to our attention and told us that he would get it rectified. He has done a great job and I have had him here about four times. He is doing such a great job that I would hire him again next year whatever it is to come and maintain the pool. I don't actually get a window time frame to know when he is going to come out. He normally comes in the middle of the day and most of the time I am here.  If I am not here he leaves me a note and overall I am happy with it.

Actual installation work was done by a two-man team from Richards Pool Services out of Merrilville, IN. Aqua Pools is the seller/delivery agent of the hardware and recommends third-party installation services. The installation crew from Richards Pool Services was efficient and capable, all work was done quickly (about 4 hours) and professionally. The installers explained service and upkeep to a first-time pool owner clearly and comprehensively. Very good experience.

We are still contemplating getting the hot tub. If we do decide to get a hot tub we will definitely get it from them.
