JOHNSON FENCE & DECK

We purchased a custom cedar fence from this company in 2009. The owner, Jon Johnson, confirmed he'd be onsite everyday during construction. Only time he showed was to collect the money. Fence is partially crooked and there are major gaps between some slats. Some gap is expected but not this much. Said he'd fix both issues...never did. Our aluminum fence is also having issues. I've attempted to contact him numerous times but never responds back. Also, we needed to submit a warranty card for the aluminum gate and, early on, he kept insisting he sent it. Never received it. This is a dishonest company and you will not receive resolution if anything goes wrong. Once he has your money...he's gone. Jon Johnson came from Martin Fence and Deck after the owner passed away and the wife didn't want to sell to him. He may still be associated with that group so be sure to ask if he is before doing business with them. If not, I've heard good things about them from my neighbor.

Note - it is now spring of 2012 and the fence has all sorts of issues. I've reached out multiple times per year for repairs that are under warranty and have never heard back.

Had done work with previous owner and contacted them to get quotes on replacing additional fence for mine and two neighboring yards. Was prompt at responding to my initial query and set a time to meet at my home for 8am Monday morning, with the caveat that he might be a bit late as he needed to get the crew out on a Monday. At 9:30 he had still not arrived and not called. He subsequently has not returned my call or email. Business must be great to not even bother providing good customer service or common courtesy
