On a 95 degree day, we came home from work to a rapidly warming house. We called to see if there was any way they would have time to work in an emergency call. To our surprise and delight, we were told that he would stop at our house after he finished with the current job. Less than an hour later he was in our driveway. He wasted no time in getting to the root of the problem,which turned out to be something we could have prevented with a simple, thorough cleaning of the outside of the unit in the spring. He then added a pound of coolant, checked the temperature, and showed us how to best clean it ourselves.
