I was remodeling two bathrooms in my house - and it was a pretty major remodeling as it involved moving walls, electrical conduits and wiring, and of course plumbing. I even relocated one window. It was a big project as two bathrooms were rebuilt practically from scratch. Classic Tile did not do walls or drywalling nor did they do electric or plumbing although they do provide these services as well. What they did was tile, marble and glass. I wanted a modern european look to my bathrooms so both of them had tile covering floors and walls all the way up to the ceiling. I also had glass shower stalls and marble vanity countertops installed. To make a long story short let me put it this way - it was a fantastic experience. Everything was really easy and pleasant to the point of very impressive - from tile selection process to the actual installation. They not only did a simply perfect tile job but they coordinated all professionals responsible for other items like glass for the showers and marble countertops. I cannot stress enough how happy I am and - I am what you may call a perfectionist and the way they laid the tile makes me smile every time I walk into my bathroom - it's perfect! The spacing between tiles is identical over hundreds of tiles and the surface is perfectly flat, all the corners and joints are geometrically perfect and al the holes they cut look like they cut them with a laser beam. I don't know how they do it but this level of perfection is more than I ever expected. And I certainly have never encounter before or after. Pricing certainly reflect their quality so they are not cheap by any stretch of imagination. But you do not hire Classic Tile if you want cheap. You get what you pay for, as usual - but in this case you get your money's worth and then some. I call it simply perfect. It's been more than three years since I did it but when they called me recently asking for a review I was more than happy to do this and so here it is. If you want more personal opinion call me or email me and I do it over and over again. I can email pictures too.

They charged us a couple of thousand dollars for the bathroom tile work. We actually know one of the owners. He is a friend of a friend of ours. They actually do really great work. They are high run so they can be a little more expensive, but they really have people that pay attention to detail. We get what we pay for. If we want things to be right, even, and everything to be level, they are the ones we use. If we need to, we will use them again in the future.

They had high quality tile and the workmanship was first class. They put in radiant heat in which is no small trick. It was one of those deals where you get what you pay for. They weren't giving it away. It was a little on the pricey side, but it was worth it in the long term. The guy oversaw the heating. He had his guys come in. I think he may have subbed out the radiant heat, but he had somebody who knew what he was doing. He was ultimately responsible for it and it's been working fine for 5 years. They collaborated with the general contractor. The tile is beautiful. They did a perfect job and it just lies perfectly. He is so busy that sometimes it is hard to get him. He may be a day late in returning the phone calls, but he does call. They came in and did the measurements. He brought somebody he was apprenticing. They did the measurements and the measurements were right on. He told us what they were going to do. They had a crew when they came in. They knew what they were doing. The floor was up. They put down the underlayment and connected it. My electrician came in and wired it into the fuse box. When that was done, the tile guys came and put sub-flooring down and then put the flooring. It was very methodical. They took about 3 days because they had to do a lot of cutting. They did a nice job of beveling the stairs. They put a curve on the tile so instead of a sharp edge it is a rounded edge. It is much more comfortable to walk on. That was a finishing touch and some guys may not do that. They did it. The company is from the North. They came in with high standards because the people in the North have high standards because there is a lot of money there. I thought that was a great thing.
