North Shore Lawnsprinkler is a family owned and operated business that has served the North Shore for more than 25 years. We are a fully licensed, insured, and bonded irrigation and underground contracting firm that specializes in irrigation, lighting, and underground contracting. All work is completed in-house without the use of sub-contractors or outsourced labor. Our rates for irrigation maintenance are $85.00 for start-up of ten zones or less, $ 95.00 for winterization of ten zones or less, and $3 per zone over ten.

3 months after they left the job, I got a water bill for over $10,000.
The city of Highland Park came out to investigate the water bill and found a leak in my system which leaked two and a half million gallons of water.
They did not check for leaks and they did not turn off the water when they were finished working.
"The work performed on your property by our company was completed correctly. We try at every turn to be positive and understanding with our customers, but this review is both fictitious and incorrect. We were found by a judge to be not liable for this water bill in court. The water bill received was not due to any fault of ours or any work that was completed improperly by North Shore Lawnsprinkler."
A couple of months after the installation one section of the system wasn't running, so I called them and they came out immediately. It was minor issue, they fixed it at no charge and it was functioning that day.

We then called them to come out and turn on the sprinklers this spring, they showed 40 min late and they asked my wife to do a few things without giving her a quote even..... I just wished they had given her a quote first b/c we would have never done it. Also, the prices are much higher than any other company (we should all go into the lawn sprinkler business). When I called to ask why they didn't give her a quote first she they only give quotes if asked. I think every other service provider we have ever had used gave us a quote for their services before they perform it. The woman on the phone seemed to have no interest in keeping our business, she just said her technicians would come out and take out what they installed.....
a week later I received a phone call from Northshore apologizing for the our miscommunication and they agreed to adjust the price. we appreciated the call and they seemed interested in keeping our business and working with us. I am not sure if we will use them anymore, but it seemed as if the person who called us cared about the customer and it went a long way with us.
