"We really appreciate that the member took the time to post to Angie's List how satisfied she was with her purchase. I did not get to see the rug in the room until I looked at the photo posted with the member's report, and I can see how the rug is "spot on" with the style of the bed and bedding in the room. We look forward to working with the member again in the future. We do practice a pricing philosophy that we think is unique in this industry - we do not pretend that our rugs are worth tens of thousands of dollars and then mark them down and sell them for different prices to different customers. We have a "one price" philosophy based on value. With regards to credit card acceptance, a primary reason that we take payment by cash or check is that it helps us keep our prices down. At this time, our prices do not have to be impacted by the amount that we would owe to the credit card companies for customer purchases."

"This was a very thick rug made with a heavyweight wool twist yarn looped through a burlap backing and then glued in place. The rug took an inordinately long time to dry due to the thickness of the wool and the looped construction. Also, due to the rug's age, the glue that held the loops in place was cracked, so the loops were coming loose in several places. We went over the rug loop by loop and hand-glued all loose loops with latex to the burlap foundation. We did not charge more for this additional service. We are confident that the rug was returned to the customer not only clean, but in much better condition than it was when we received it for cleaning. Returning the rug to the customer took longer than originally anticipated. We did keep the customer updated, and we hope he ultimately appreciated the extra attention that we gave his rug."

"Upon reading this review, the owner of our company, Job Youshaei, contacted this member. We were previously unaware of his dissatisfaction. We assured this member that we check cleaned rugs very thoroughly to be certain that they are dry before returning them to customers. It is not acceptable that a damp rug would be received by a customer. We offered to wash the rug again at no charge. This member expressed interest in having the cleaning done. He also let us know that he appreciated our offer to wash his rug again for free."

"Our company does all repair work by hand and almost every rug is cleaned completely by hand as well. Our process is labor intensive and high quality. The price of work depends on roughly 3 factors: the kind of rug, the size of the rug, and the condition of the rug. When cleaning is requested, after we look at the rug, we will make recommendations for repairs or improvements. All additional services are completely optional. Agreement to these services increases the price of the work and the length of time that it will take to complete the work. We always try to give a best estimate of the time required, however, sometimes doing a superb job takes a little longer than expected. We appreciate the feedback that our customers provide here."
