I set up an appointment with Igor to get some Electrical work done for my home. He came by and gave me an estimate. I was trying to grow an indoor vegetable garden and needed more electricity than my old apartment could handle. He kept hinting at me growing questionable plants which I found somewhat insulting as I had lettuce seeds sitting there in front of his face and I had no intention of growing anything but edible plants. He then proceeded to tell me that he did not care and he would do *any* project. But because he gave me a very fair estimate, I decided to use him anyway. He assured me that he would show up the next week to start work (even though I wanted him to start as soon as possible). He never showed the next week. After I called him multiple times he finally returned my call and told me he injured his hand. I was *very* understanding and waited another week before calling him again. He didn't take my calls for three days (after another week) so I finally got frustrated and gave up and asked for my deposit back. This is when he got very unprofessional and sketchy. He refused to meet me (even if I drove to his house) and would only mail the money in the form of a money order to my home. I asked him nicely to mail the money order to my families suburban address because I have a little distrust for the Chicago Postal system, and he completely refused. It has now been 8 days and I have still not received a refund from him. I would strongly urge everyone to never do business with this man. At this point, I question if he even is a licensed electrician or just someone who posts adds on craigs list to take advantage of people. The only reason I spent all this time writing this review is so that nobody has to go through what I went through. I hope this saves someone allot of headaches and wasted time~!
