August was great to work with from start to finish. He was fast and thorough. His workers were responsible and pleasant. He had a lot of attention to detail and completed everything to our satisfaction. He was patient when there was difficulty getting the colors right for the exterior. He had to balance dealing with the sub-contractor who kept getting it wrong, and us who had a hard time deciding if the color was going to work or not. He knew it was important to get it right and he did. We started the addition in June, and he was done in November (except for garage). We expanded the scope along the way because it was going well and it all looked so great. We had plans for him to work from, but he had good ideas which we incorporated. He was on the job everyday and when he took some vacation time he put someone else in charge who was great, and even helped me with a last minute change in a fixture. Also, one of his workers was injured on the job and August totally took care of it, and the worker was fully compensated. It was smoother than I thought possible given all the horror stories people tell about these projects. He handled all the permits and the inspections. We lived in the house during the project with 2 young children as well.
