Color Harmony

Diane was spot on with all her color recommendations! She takes her time reviewing colors with you and makes sure they complement your house style/decor. We have an open floor plan on the main level and she made sure the colors flowed, coordinating the tones and picking lighter colors in the kitchen and great room and bolder colors in the dining room and formal living room. The painters just finalized the house and it looks amazing! Each room looks unique yet the colors flow throughout the house. Diane is very talented and would strongly recommend her to others!

I am very please with the colors selected and excited to get my home's interior painted. I do not believe I would have selected nearly as nice of shades on my own. The whole palette looks very cohesive and pleasing.
This is not an inexpensive process, but when you realize how much paint/professional painters are, it is very worthwhile to have a color consultation to avoid and quot;re-dosand quot;.
The process was lengthier than I thought it would be (I asked to split it up into 2 days when I realized it was longer than I thought.
Diane is lovely to work with, very responsive and helpful.

I cannot give enough praise to Diane Golin for coming to our rescue when we where overwhelmed with a task that she effortlessly attacked with results that exceeded our expectations. Her sense of color and knowledge of color options was very impressive and her guidance in selecting colors was just what we needed. She provided specific written instructions for the painters for every room, including the color for the trim and the ceilings (which to my surprise really does make a difference). We also learned from Diane that using paint samples on the wall is not a good way to select color... it's better to paint a large poster board and then move it around...she has numerous samples to work with and not those tiny color wheels.
I would highly recommend that anyone who is doing a painting project work with Diane in the selection of colors. It is definitely worth the consultation. You would not be disappointed and you will save money by not having to repaint!

We purchased a townhome, built in the mid-80's, which was extremely dated. Every room was white. We we were feeling very nervous about selecting colors for every room - we wanted to make strong choices but feared that when we moved in, we would end up with regrets. We asked our painters if they could help us with color selection and they recommended Color Harmony.
We can't say enough about Diane. She was terrific. She was flexible with her scheduling - we met her at the townhouse right after the closing and weren't certain when we would get there. She arrived exactly when she said she would. She talked with us about what we were thinking, what we wanted to achieve, what our budget was like, etc. She quickly embraced our design esthetic and started working through colors and shades and, over a few hours, helped us develop a color plan for every room.
I would absolutely say that Diane saved us money on the painting - but not in the sense that we ended up spending less. She helped us feel much less afraid about our choices and increased our confidence to make some bolder selections, which did increase the cost of the painting job. However, instead of just having color in each room, we have drama (the good kind)! It is really stunning. The house also looks bigger and more expensive. It's really amazing.
The painters groused a little at the expanded scope (but not expanded timeframe), but as we were looking at some of the completed rooms, they asked if they could take some pictures as examples of their work. It really is stunning.
Some of the credit goes to the painters, and I'll submit a review for them separately, but the plan for this was made possible by Color Harmony. I would recommend Diane to anyone planning a substantive painting job. Absolutely outstanding.
