For the past 25 years I have been fortunate to bring my cars to Chuck's Auto Body. I have never had to worry about getting a "second opinion" or question the quality of Marty's (and Chuck's) technical knowledge, expertise, and honesty. I totally agree with another Angie's List customer who described them and their business as "simply the best." Last year my car (2005 Toyota Corolla) had exhaust problems. When I brought the car to Marty, he advised me that a new exhaust system would cost $1500 since it was a single-piece system; however he pointed out that I could have a muffler shop cut and replace the damaged exhaust pipe flanges. He drew an outline of the exhaust system and problem area and showed me what section the muffler shop needed to cut and replace. I followed Marty's advice and had a local muffler shop cut out the damaged section and weld a new section for $150.

I drove to the muffler shop (CarX in the same town) and had them repair the exhaust as Marty had advised. The repair charge was $150.00.

I have been going to Chuck's Auto Repair Service for 28+ years. The former owner Chuck Trom (who Marty also worked with) retired 3 years ago and Marty bought the business from him. During my entire association with Chuck's Auto Repair Service I have been totally satisfied with the quality of their work and their integrity. Since I know very little about car repair, I have relied on their unfailing honesty to assess what repairs needed to be performed--and consistently at a fair price!

I whole-heartedly and unequivocally recommend Marty Polka (and Chuck's Auto Repair Service) to Angie's List.

He is a very honest an knowledgeable mechanic. He will tell you straight up what needs to be done now and what you can postpone. He allowed me to buy all the parts for my brake job on line and just bring them in for him to install. This saved me a lot of money.
